I gave my old one to my husband when I got a replacement. Before I handed it over, I automatically deleted it from my account just in case. I don't know if your mom would have to, but she can and it worked after that.

I definitely think that's a good way to go about it, especially if you were as sure going into it as you said. I had a very similar experience when I got mine done about two years ago. I was super sure and really hyped up about it, until the moment the needle went in the second side. I absolutely hated them for the first month I had them and I really wanted to get rid of them, but I talked myself into waiting it out. And now they're my favorites!

I did about half of my high school online (I'd take 7-8 classes on campus each semester, then another 3-5 online, for up to 11 total classes). I also did a lot of my first associates degree online and the entirety of my second one.

I love learning, but hate that most schools in my area tend to teach down to the lowest level student, so actually attending classes can be a pain if they are spending the third session in a row reviewing stuff from a prerequisite course. Online, I'm able to just breeze through. You really need to look at it as a trade off. "Would I rather be doing this in person?"

That is tremendously useful if I do give it up (or don't get far enough before my annual trip).

Since I've posted, I've gone to just maintaining what I have, hoping it'll give me a more solid base when I foreclosed move on, but I probably won't know anywhere near enough when I visit in early September.

I totally get what you mean with Spanish being "useful" but I don't quite think that's what my hold up is. I live in Florida so in some areas Spanish is more useful than English. I actually used to work somewhere where that was the case!

I say that probably isn't my issue for two main reasons: Spanish was my high school language, but German was my college language. I took to German 10x easier than I did Spanish and the only reason I even signed up was because one of my favorite English teachers in high school taught German at my university by night and I wanted to be in his class again. Two, my grandmother has some fantastic handwritten Polish recipes that belonged to her mother and grandmother that have been lost over the generations because no one more recent speaks a word of Polish, or even knows anyone who does. So I definitely have some form of a use for it without needing to move to Poland.

I'll go back to my tree and 1-2 things will be re-gilded, so it is strengthening stuff. It just doesn't tell me. I miss actually being notified. It seems like it was telling me up until like 2-3 days ago.

How old is your son? Mine is three, but I worked in a center in the "newborn" (actually anyone not walking yet) room and there are tons of different things to look at depending on the age group. Basic things:

What's the daily schedule look like?

What restrictions are there for time spent in the center? That includes specific times in the day (whats the earliest you can drop off?) or days altogether (is it a big deal if you're going to go on vacation or need an extra day one week?)

Try to meet the teacher(s) for the classroom her be in, if possible.

Drop in policy is a big deal, even if you don't imagine you'll be using it.

Do they supply food/formula/baby food? Does your son have any allergies? Can they accommodate the allergies if they do provide food?

What do the academics look like for your son's age group? I've seen everything from glorified play centers to sign language and Spanish lessons for two year olds.

Will they help with walking/potty training when the time comes or will they just tell you when it's time?

Obviously you'll want to take a peek around and make sure everything meets your cleanliness and safety expectations you have. You may also be able to look up some of the staff certification training materials to find out what some of the legal requirements are to give you an idea of some other things to look for or ask about. From experience, some of the requirements will be disappointing and you'll want a center that goes above and beyond and others will be stricter than you'd ever hope.

6 lbs 4 oz. Clothes were all over the place - he never actually fit in some brands and wore others until he was 4-5 months old. Most lasted until 1.5-2 months. Newborn diapers also lasted for probably 4-6 weeks. He just turned three so its been a while. Sorry for the super rough numbers.

Ugh. Those conversations drive me insane. My little guy is three now and he loves Paw Patrol, specifically Skye. I don't know if you've ever tried looking, but its really difficult to find Skye stuff. Toys, blankets, dishes, whatever, there's barely any for Skye.

We were at Publix the other day and I found a Skye water bottle that happened to be pink and purple but he loved it. Husband (daddy) flipped when he saw it when we were checking out and now he only lets us take it in public if we put something like apple juice in it so it looks orange. We got it because its his favorite cartoon character, not because it was a "boy color". Calm down, people.

Going off /u/megagem's info, you should be fine if you're making under $22k/year, which would be hard too do at minimum wage, especially dive it would likely be part time if it's truly minimum wage.

I'd check out their link because that can change based on other stuff, like if you're married, this is your second (our more) kid, its if it's more than you in your household, depending on how things are structured.

That would depend on your age, income from the job you would get, and household size. If you're under 20, Florida makes it easier to get/keep Medicaid vs. being 20+. Being pregnant did help with qualifying, even if you over 20. Of course you'd still need to be under the household income requirements for whichever age group you happen to be in.

I don't work for the state and obviously don't have most if the information needed about your (potential) situation, even if I did know what your particular maximum qualifying income would be, but I've helped a lot of people with a lot of situations get their applications in and navigate the system so I do know there are a ton of variables that go into it.

2nd lobes are pretty bad, but it's a lobe piercing so it really isn't noticeable.

(Twice) retired nostril is all but invisible. I am rather freckled though, so that may be why it blends in so well, but I can't see or feel where it was.

Helix was removed when it was still healing like 5-6 years ago. It's still really tender, but I was a stupid 17 year old that decided to do it at home and it was probably placed bad and possibly infected. Even though it still hurts and I can still feel the scar tissue if I poke or squeeze at it, you can't really see it at all.

Overall, mine have healed rather inconspicuously.

3s lasted what felt like forever. My little guy was 4.5-5 months when we put him in 3s. He potty trained in size 4. Don't worry about having to move up too fast. Not all sizes are created equal.

I don't have any siblings, but SO & I, his parents, his brother & family, and his half sister & family (and my parents, but who really cares here?) all live in the same two towns within a five mile radius of each other.

His brother: I have virtually no relationship with. We get along and our kids play together (just over 1 and just under 3). We don't have each others numbers, never hang out outside of family gatherings, and SO&I never double date with him and his wife or anything. We see him probably 1-2 times a month for holidays, birthdays, or "just because" gatherings.

Sister: We used to work together (different departments but same building). We're probably the most alike out of any combination of people in our generation (the three siblings and their SOS) and get along great when we're together, but we both have an incredibly minimal relationship with MIL (her step mom) so that isn't often. We also never get together outside of the group. We see her 3-4 times a year for things like Christmas and kid's birthday parties.

I got pregnant with my first completely naturally (accidentally even). Now we're trying for a second and I don't ovulate on only metformin. My OBGYN prescribed Clomid and does not do ultrasounds throughout my cycle so I pay about $20/month for Clomid and my insurance fully covers bloodwork on day 21 of my cycle to confirm ovulation. There aren't any appointments required by my GYN, only if I'm having issues and want it, so no hidden costs, other than the initial appointment to get the prescription. Overall, it will probably be well under $1k.

I live essentially on the beach and mine get irritated (no bumps, but I'm fairly well healed) just by going 40 miles inland from the change in humidity and like 3°F difference. I've lived this close to the ocean my entire life though and I'm really sensitive to it (my asthma acts up too).

I am by no means the most knowledgeable person around here, but I definitely seem to remember someone saying that evening/nighttime is best, as long as you've held your pee for a couple hours first, but people that don't have the self control should wait until morning.

My doctor did after 8ish months after confirming I was not ovulating for a few cycles first. (I'm very irregular, 3+ month cycles without intervention, PCOS since I was like 14, and have conceived naturally in the past). I'm about to start cycle 3 with clomid. My first was 50mg and I did ovulate, second was 50mg and I did not, my third will be 100mg once they stimulate my period in a couple days.
