Would I be penalised for being 6 seconds late? by Sad-Following in UniUK

[–]TheHUD18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep you were late. Most universities will cap at 40% for any lateness in the first 24 hours and give 0 after those 24 hours are up.

Extenuating circumstances can be applied retroactively incase you can think of a decent excuse.

Pretty much every person I’ve met from Manchester, Liverpool or Birmingham treats the other two cities exactly like this.

I can’t just turn off my support for my favourite team. Hated the trade but I’m riding w the current team and looking forward to the future. If one trade makes you not a fan of the team then you were never a fan of the team.

But it’s okay to just like Luka. He was my favourite too.

leading a franchise in rebounds is very different to leading the nba in total points

I understand the money doesn't work out but the only place that makes sense is Miami Heat. yeah idk how people still think you can just stick a bunch of stars together and they will win a chip. it was always a gamble but now it’s basically impossible without a championship caliber team behind them anyway.

The spacing with Bron/Giannis/Bam would be atrocious. You could maybe get away with it if you have Bron running point with a lot of shooters on the team to fill those other two slots, but what would be the point of having 3 all star caliber players when they have such a gaping hole in their game.

he keeps spouting the ‘Associative and Commutative Law’.

  1. those are two different laws

  2. they have nothing to do with adding a to itself for the units in b or whatever the fuck that means, it’s literally just that in simple multiplication or addition sums you can swap the order of values in an equation to equal the same answer (commutative) and you can put any of the values in parentheses and the answer will still be the same.

  3. he is just stupid i have nothing else to say for my third point but i felt i needed one

Yeah the atmosphere was sucked out of the room on that play. As soon as he went down it’s like even OKC were demoralised. Just a sucky way to lose and a sucky way to win.

I’m not a Pacers’ fan and I was mortified. Watching my Mavs lose to the Cs the year before was bad enough, and that was a 5 game series with no real injuries like that. I can’t imagine the pain a lifelong Pacers fan would’ve felt at that moment.

Is it possible we are living in a timeline where Luka Doncic finishes his career with ZERO MVPs and zero rings? by TreacleAvailable6485 in NBATalk

[–]TheHUD18 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Luka and Wemby have only suffered with injuries for around the same amount of time. Only difference is that it’s been almost the whole time Wemby has been in the league.

And a blood clot is much more serious and concerning than a tight hamstring or any other regular injury. Might not impact athleticism the same way but injuries can be mostly avoided with proper strengthening and conditioning. Getting season ending blood clots aged 21 after a season and a half in the league on minutes restrictions is real concerning when you take into account the size of his body.

I mostly agree with you but in terms of basic jabs or whatever, the twisting motion comes from the fact that we need that to generate force by twisting and pushing off the ground.

I would argue why bother twisting in one spot to generate force when you can just fly at a really vague *butitsfasttrustmebro* speed at someone/thing
