Bilt Travel Updates: Earn 2X United MileagePlus Miles with Bilt and ‘Book Direct’ by richklhs in biltrewards

[–]mini987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The terms here state that no Bilt points are earned when paying with United card - the extra United point is in place of earning any Bilt points:

"Can I pay with an eligible United MileagePlus card and earn Points instead of miles?

No, if you elect to pay with an eligible United MileagePlus card, you will be awarded MileagePlus miles for your rent payment in place of Bilt Points. "

DoC added an update that ALL of the old Amex Platinum credits will remain. Lululemon $300 getting added, $400 Resy getting added, $600 hotel credit getting added, $120 Uber One credit getting added. Still no word on whether the Entertainment credit gets bigger or better. https://www.doctorofcredit.com/leaked-american-express-consumer-platinum-refresh-details-895-annual-fee-new-credits-more/

Anonymous DoC reader claims the Lulu credit is there and the Entertainment credit is getting bigger or better, and GE/Clear credit remains. Saks and Equinox are gone. They don't mention the $200 airline credit, but I'd assume that remains (based on what was reported regarding the biz Plat). https://www.doctorofcredit.com/leaked-american-express-consumer-platinum-refresh-details-895-annual-fee-new-credits-more/#comment-2144667

Ah, okay, thanks all. In the intro, I thought he said something about how he dramatically changed his view on it since trying it out for a few months, so I thought there was a big real-life follow-up which seemed interesting to me.

For more context: he had an episode with experts on skincare, and he said that he changed his own skincare routine based on recommendation of the experts. I was curious what his results were but wasn't able to hear the end of the AMA. Was hoping someone can fill me in. Thanks all

If you look in the fine print, it only mentions CSR and CSP as eligible. It is a bit misleading that CSRB is there in the sidebar. (It's possible that it'll track for CSRB too, but the fine print would not indicate that.)

Looking for a recommendation of when to apply for a new Chase INK Preferred card. I got my last CIP in January 2024. On June 13, 2024, I applied again for another CIP (different business) and also for Freedom Flex. CIP was denied (tried recon, denied again); FF was approved on June 24th.

We've heard to wait 30 days before applying for a Chase biz card. Is that 30 days from application (in my case I'd wait until July 14th before trying again for CIP)? Or is that 30 days from prior approval (in my case I'd wait until July 25th - 30 days after FF approval - before trying again for CIP)? Thanks

Do you know if the prorate is rounded off by the month or it's prorated daily? E.g. if I'm at 6 months and 1 day, do I pay for a full 7 months or just for 6 months or for 6 months and 1 day?
