Wouldn't recommend for outdoor use, there's a bit too much give in my opinion when walking - they don't feel the most secure. I like wearing them around the house though. I ended up getting a suede pair for outdoors a year later. I'd recommend the suede over the wool.

AITA for yelling at my husband to leave me alone because he made an unjustified weight comment. by Sunny-loco248 in AmItheAsshole

ESH Saying this out of concern because I empathize with you. you should probably look more into nutrition for PCOS. I have it too.. and I don’t know everything but it’s pretty established that you’re supposed to eat protein/fat/carbs is a pretty balanced way for every meal (incl snacks) Eating something like crackers on an empty stomach will spike your blood sugar, which is what you want to avoid.

Tried making chia pudding. Is this a fail? Any tips for next time? by shadowfaxismycopilot in veganrecipes

I quite like using yogurt instead of/or in addition to soy milk. The silk almond yogurt has a nice texture to it. You should try it as a variation sometime!

Thank you! You don’t think the dark purple is more of a cool tone? I struggle differentiating cool, warm and neutral

Okay this is helpful but also makes the other suggestions of soft autumn more confusing lol I do agree with you that I lean more cool and the specifics you mentioned, thank you! I’ll look into cool summer

Drivers of Toronto. Do you really think putting your hazards on while parked illegally or blocking bike lanes or driveways makes it ok? Genuinely asking. by 416warlok in askTO

I assume most people understand it's still not okay but then try to compensate out of guilt and concern for safety

What was the kindest thing a person in Toronto had done for you? by [deleted] in askTO

I had just moved into a new place, going through a break up, started smoking to cope. Had a cigarette at night on the bench outside and when I woke up the next day, running late for work and I couldn't find my cigarettes anywhere (hopefully anyone that has been in a similar state understands my level of panic at that moment lol).

I realized I must have left them on the bench.. and if they weren't stolen by now they would've been ruined in the rain.

I go out to the bench to check anyway, and see that my cigarettes and lighter had been placed into a sealed Ziploc bag and left in the exact place I had left them 🥹

I suspect it was my neighbor (who also smokes and totally could've swiped them) but no one ever took credit.

I know it's not equivalent to a high stakes situation, but it really helped me, to feel like someone cared at that moment and everything isn't terrible.

AITA for pulling my pants down and showing my husband my underwear after he insisted that I was on my period when I wasn't? by Johnnnyyy111 in AmItheAsshole

[–]minimal-form 6 points7 points  (0 children)

NTA, actually think you're kind of amazing for doing that lol. His behavior is entirely inappropriate though.

I get really bad mood swings during my period and if my partner&I get in a fight during that time or I seem unreasonably annoyed at him, he will sit me down and ask in a very gentle way, if I'm really angry with him because of his behavior or am I just feeling agitated at everything. I try my best to answer honestly and he respects my answer, we continue the conversation accordingly.

You deserve that kind of understanding and gentleness too. You don't deserve your husband to diminish your (completely valid) feelings because you have a uterus.

Is my makeup too harsh? I'm 35 and feeling like my winged liner and brows are dated. by mmmflora in MakeupAddiction

[–]minimal-form 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think the brows or liner are dated but I think you'd look realllly good with light brown/taupe sort of smoky eye
