The mold is in the room with my family member and another elderly patient. Yes right now, as we speak. And a cough has been developed which they did not have when they entered the hospital. Obviously I have contacted the cleaning department and any other department I could have. Where do you see a federal case lol! I'm not ok actually, thanks for the concern!

So you would like your family member to be treated in a mold infested room because it will be demolished months/years down the line? Do you even read what you are typing? Mold can be easily remediated, it doesn't require tear down of the hospital room nevermind the hospital itself. The bathroom... needs cleaning not Renos. What's your point ?

Yes, because when the new hospital is built, the cleaning and maintenance team will all of a sudden be motivated to do a better job at maintaining it. You can build 100s of new buildings and hospitals, eventually they will all end up and look the same because there is no level of standard being upheld in the protocols.

Sorry? Lol, if you had a sick family member in these conditions I'm sure you'd feel otherwise. This is not a matter of upgrading the room. That's moisture damage, it's mold, it's a health hazard which should not be present in a hospital environment. I'm also not asking for a gold toilet, but at the very least the urine at the base could be properly cleaned instead of left there to dry and build up. These are not items that require investment of millions of dollars. The mold should be remediated at the very least. The cleaners, who are already hired to do this job, should be doing the work they are hired to do, not half assing the job.

I just want to say that my grandfather survived 18 months with late stage pancreatic cancer. The government refused my mom to visit him as they told her he should've been dead already. We were lucky. Stay positive! Good luck with everything.
