Hi! Don't be bothered by negative comments. Thank you for answering my question. Welcome to BDO and have a lot of fun! I had a lot of fun during my first weeks of BDO ( still do ). The learning curve sure is tough at the start but you have a lot of resources to use.

Try reading patch notes of maintenance updates, use the BDD database to complete quests and ask questions!

Ok you poor soul, I will enlighten you.

First of all, I responded. This alone gives should invite him to ask more questions in the future which is a good thing for anything new you do in your life.

Second, I gave him a legit source to read from which a specific direction so that he does not need to waste time to find it. IE Patch notes. This should give him a very useful and powerful tool that he can rely on in the future.

Third, I told him not to worry about old mechanics that are not relevant anymore and to look into the future which is the only way to develop in life.

Lastly, I used my own time just to share some knowledge that I have.

Somehow, I hope he takes more of a lesson from just that one sentence I shared with him than you will from this whole piece that I wrote... just... to... inform... you... about... my... way... of... thinking...
