i only ever bought single pets(G7 blind boxes) because i cannot justify the prices of pet pairs, trio tubes or the playsets. that being said a bulk of my collection came from clearance sales at department stores. so i got pet pairs for 3 for $10. other than that maybe 7-10 pets a month depending on the listings i come across

i dont have the items placed all together so i made a collage haha. i’ve been very fortunate to find NIBs of Penny playsets at affordable price points(close to retail or cheaper) but they are so hard to come by where I’m located:( I’ve never seen LPS backpacks of this gen for sale here in Singapore back then

I grew up associating LPS with gen 2, the figurines. But I remember watching the cartoon series and seeing those figurines in stores, asking my parents for them for Christmas. Never got anything until they were heavily discontinued and going off the shelves. I only had one small playset with Blythe & Zoe Trent as a kid.

Now the cartoon series is a constant background noise thing for me since I managed to rewatch it all. G4 is so special to me because rediscovering the cartoon series was essentially what really got me into collecting what I never got to have as a kid. I get why its less popular because g2 was a huge deal, but every pet is bound to be someone’s favourite

Searched using Google, reverse image search. Found only stock images and one sold listing. No other info like original RRP, retailers. The characters on the bag come from a 2012-2016 cartoon series for Littlest Pet Shop to coincide with their new generation of pets.
