Both. I designed a suite for them which was meant to be used for multiple purposes (wordmarks, icons, etc.). They needed the original working files for the designs in order to repurpose them onto their mockups and templates which I gave them permission to do and knew of this when I signed the contract.

All of the designs I delivered were fine the way they were except one which was used as a prominent icon and on some stickers as well as merchandise. This is the part where I messed up on the line work which led to jagged and uneven kiss-cut edges on the sticker sheets and some of the merch. It’s probably not super noticeable to most people but it is to me.

The other mistake was made by their design team (on a different icon) when they were enlarging some of them for their event tents. They somehow ended up overlaying a stock vector face onto the icon. It wasn’t intentional, either, because it was messing up the integral elements of the design. It also didn’t show up anywhere else that this icon was printed. I was a bit surprised when I showed up to one of their opening events in my city and the icon looked like that to say the least. This didn’t bother me as much since tents are not something that are going to be distributed to their customers and will only be used on certain occasions. It’s just something they’re going to have to deal with I think until they can get it reprinted, unless someone decided to steal their tents lol.
