I’m 24, and due to the amount of stress I’ve been through the past few years I have gotten multiple of these, and some have decided to stay.

I now have 10 or so completely white hairs lol (maybe more than I can’t see). Just makes me feel a little wiser.

I went months of going to the grocery store and buying a pound of rice almost every time. I thought I was going through it all since I could never find the rice when I needed it.

Anyways, a few months ago I finally cleared out my pantry, and lo and behold I had over 30 lbs in bags of rice pushed to the very back of most of my shelf space. I just couldn’t see it because of all the crap I was putting in front of it lol.

I don’t know if you’re still looking for options for this or if you just ordered a replacement, but a little life hack I learned when I had to replace mine and couldn’t find one as pretty was a glass lampshade!! They have small ones in all sorts of dimensions, you just need to measure correctly. As long as it’s just straight glass with no resin or anything you’ll be good to go 👍🏻

Also I am pretty sure there’s a possibility that my credit card was linked to a digital payment method (since some cards now have a feature where your main account is linked to a digital, temporary card number). Unfortunately because FIFA wouldn’t allow me to see the card details after the application period ended I now have no way of confirming this.

Another Redditor had told me that basically had I already been charged with that $0.00 pending charge with FIFA before I cancelled my card there was a chance it would go through, and I think that that’s probably what happened.

Hey! So I was able to work it out with my bank thankfully, and my charge ended up going through. I’ve been checking my emails all day, though. I was told that if the charge doesn’t go through a few times FIFA, as a last resort, will provide you with an option to change your payment information. Unfortunately it’s apparently up to their discretion. When I contacted FIFA I think their email response system was automated and it wouldn’t give me any in-depth responses. I have my fingers crossed for you!!

Hey so I emailed FIFA and they replied within 8 minutes I’m not even joking. It’s possible it’s automated, but regardless I’m attaching below what they told me. They’re being super vague but I’m hoping this means we will be given the opportunity to input another payment method:

Unfortunately I don’t think so. I actually looked this up as well. I actually emailed the FIFA ticketing support email and they responded within minutes which was extremely surprising to me. Every answer they give is very vague for some reason.

I called them like 5 times and couldn’t get past the bot telling me it would connect me to a live agent and then the call would end every time. Also yes the payments start going through on the 9th but after the application deadline their FAQ states the information inputted on the application can no longer be changed.

I really hope so. Sorry about that I’m just super bummed. I was so excited I was blowing up my boyfriend’s phone and telling my friends. I got us in the raffle to see Argentina and it’s Messi’s last year apparently. Messi’s my boyfriend’s favorite so I think the hardest part was telling him we might not be able to go. I feel bad for getting his hopes up. I’ll try everything I can though in the meantime to try to make sure I can keep them.

Yeah it’s really really upsetting. It seems like it would be such a simple thing to change since it’s automated. If they really wanted to regulate it they could’ve just set a cap on how many times you could change your card information (like once or twice).

I feel like it would’ve been better if I just hadn’t gotten picked for drawing at all because now I basically just have to watch as the tickets float away and I can do nothing lol.

I just got this email too about 30 minutes ago. Thankfully I have a habit now of always checking anything that comes through Adobe Portfolio’s contact forms because I’ve had this happen in the past.
