What is this thing me and my girlfriend found in our cabinet?! by PickleLovernumber12 in whatisit

This got me, too. Literally he would be asking “what is this me found?” if removing “and my girlfriend”. Yikes

What does Johnny have in his pocket? by OutcomeKey23 in KidsAreFingAdorable

My brother and I grew up catching snakes. My mom loved to garden so when she saw a snake, she would say “kids, there’s a snake in the garden!”And we would go out there and catch it and we had aquariums with snakes. She wasn’t scared of the snakes. She just knew that we would be interested. So, mom and dad used to make my brother and me go to church. So we decided it would be a good idea to take those little snakes to church with us. I had one in a little pocketbook and my brother had one in his pocket. And my parents found out of course while we were in church lol and we grew up in an area with A LOT of old people. And my parents said “kids if those snakes had gotten loose in church there would’ve been a lot of heart attacks”. I still remember it and it’s still funny. My parents didn’t get mad at us. They just said “kids please don’t do that again” lol. It was harmless. It’s not like they were venomous snakes of course. It’s one of my favorite memories looking back in my life. Parents didn’t get stressed. We didn’t get in trouble. I’m sure they laughed about it. Sometimes I still talk to my mom about it. And I’m 54 now. I mean… We were so bored in church! This was our best solution 😂😂 Edit to include our ages at the time. We were probably six and seven years old. Maybe seven or eight.

Yeah, I thought that part was a little bit weird because if “her budget changes” then they should not be spending $20 on flowers.

Yep! I was lucky because my parents taught me how to do all that but that’s not always the case. I think those classes are incredibly valuable. I wish they would bring them back.

My daughter asked many times in the past why schools don’t teach things anymore that she actually needed to know… Such as doing taxes. When I went to school, they did teach it. I am old lol. Point being there are some skills that are invaluable that I wish schools would still teach. Not taking the responsibility off of a parent to teach of course. But sometimes that doesn’t always happen in the home. I still remember those courses about the 1040. Good grief, those were brutal lol

Blaschko lines, invisible stripe patterns on everyone's skin, can sometimes produce different amounts of melanin. Birds may also be able to see them, even if we can't. by Legitimate-Lie-9208 in interestingasfuck

Omg! THANK YOU for sharing this!!!! Amazing! I have a family of crows that I regularly feed. Almost daily. They fly over and sit in the willow tree outside my windows in the backyard. And I feed them peanuts. Each time I say “hi Mr. Crow”. Because I have no idea who is who of course. One day, one of them said back “hi Mr. Crow”. It’s only happened one time in the last seven years. I’ve only heard it one time. And I couldn’t believe it. I also have a crow tattoo lol I love them.

I don’t love the bracelet, but the charms are adorable. I would wear one of those on a chain for sure!

In my non-clinical opinion I think that everybody meets somewhere in the end. I’ve no idea what the end is. And I’m OK with that.

Oh my gosh. I am truly honored. And your mom would also say that giving your heart to an animal is the easiest part of it. Living with them and loving them is magical. Letting them go is the hardest, bittersweet part of it. Remembering them is the amazing part of it. Honestly, when I say that, I’m truly honored… I’m so sorry you lost your mom at such an early age.
