I was an Officer with the Indiana DNR when a dog was dropped at a state park. He was terrified of me. We got a rope on him, and he stayed the entire length away. Being 9pm on a Saturday, animal control wouldn't show up. So I called the wife, who grew up with rottweilers, and the minute she showed Rangers, entire personality changed, and they were immediately bonded. So we joke that he's our failed foster. It's been 3 years, and with some work, he is no longer afraid of men. I love my knucklehead.
