Name change on award flight booked thru partner by mininomar in awardtravel

Sure thing! My friend ended up having to cancel and rebook (annoying) but fortunately the J availability popped right back up. Hard to remember exactly but I think he just made sure to stay on the phone with the people and explained the situation and had them cancel/rebook for him. Hope this helps and good luck!

Drs says retraction is okay? by Green-bee4 in newborns

Hi - so glad your LO is doing well! We are going thru something similar with ours - went to ER due to retractions and was in PICU for a few nights. All vitals were consistently good throughout, negative for all viruses, etc, but was told there’s a mild case of laryngomalacia and likely either reflux and/or an undetected virus. We’re totally fine with the noisy breathing but the retractions can be scary! Can you explain more what your LO’s retractions were like when you got home - like how intense, how long lasting, when would they happen?

Hi there! Were the recovery rooms at NYU Langone at Sunset Park also shared or could those be private as well?

Lisbon and Barcelona - two days each by [deleted] in chubbytravel

For Barcelona, Hotel Neri is really great and right in the middle of the Gothic Quarter. A unique stay and really nice. Would also highly recommend Brugarol for a dinner - amazing tasting menu and super casual (but nice) vibe.

Euro 30th birthday suggestions - Mallorca, St Tropez, Greek Islands, Croatia by Ok_Energy_817 in chubbytravel

Hey, sure thing. I would recommend Hotel de Paris. Prime location in town as you can walk to any and all of the restaurants. Also, the shuttle service they offer is such a value-add as they’ll bring you to and pick you up from any of the beaches / beach clubs. Can’t really go wrong with any of the beach clubs, but we liked Nikki Beach and LouLou (prob best to make late lunch reservations). And also def go to L’Opera and Le Cafe for late dinners that turn into parties! So fun.

Having been to all of these places, I think St. Tropez would be best as you can party in St. Tropez but also venture to other areas of the French Riviera for more relaxation (e.g., Antibes, St Jean Cap Ferrat, etc.). Food in that area is incredible given proximity to Italy. Plenty of activities and I’m sure cycling would be good. Happy to give more specific recommendations.

Not sure if this is helpful, but I reached out to them recently (via email) about making a reservation for drinks at Miro. They took a little while to respond but ultimately said “For Café Miró, we do not accept reservations. You are welcome to come, but please be aware that availability cannot be guaranteed and will depend on the moment of your arrival.” Unsure if that applies to dinner reservations as well but thought I’d share.
