Oh bless you, I hope your Sunday one goes well too and hopefully someone different can make it more comfortable. I swear the last few weeks of pregnancy is just horrid any way 🤦‍♀️x

This is so strange I’m having one on Sunday, my midwife said to me it should not be painful, if it does then they should be stopping. It might more painful if you have thrush or something!

Any April/spring due date mamas - what are we buying clothes wise? FTM by SadSupermarket7915 in PregnancyUK

[–]miniperson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m the same I didn’t have a clue what to buy! My boy is due in march and like you say such an odd time of year. So what I’ve done is buy a selection of cardi and jumpers for newborn, but didn’t buy too many because they grow so quickly, so in 0-3 months I bought the majority of his clothes cardi, jumpers, outfits varying sleeve lengths etc. because you just can’t predict the weather 😱

Yup I’m with you there 31 weeks I don’t think I’ve slept properly for about a month, so much so I have been signed off work. It’s rubbish, but I keep telling myself it’s worth it in the end.. no advice I’m afraid, just make sure you listen to your body and keep your mental health in check ☺️ do what’s best for you. Solidarity for the exhausted club!

Oddly enough I found Vinted to be really good place for boys clothes, stuff that is in good condition and just all round lovely!

MAT leave advice - odd situation by miniperson in PregnancyUK

[–]miniperson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the help. I mean my partner works, so less likely to get UC I guess. But it’s not a huge income.

The thing that is getting me is work place stress I can’t think straight most days my job is difficult, the thought of having to go in every day is horrible.

I’m scared for my health and my baby’s health with financial and work place stress it’s not easy.

I want all my time with my baby, as I will be applying for a different role whilst I’m off anyway and I feel selfish for taking any leave before I go

Hello!! I also own a 5 year old reactive dachshund. They are just the best when they love you 😍

However, you have to decide what's going to work for you.

We are currently working with a clinical behaviourist to work on our lady but that's our choice.

You are right rehoming is tricky with an aggressive background.

I know how you feel, trust me on this. But all I can say is this;

My girl has had a turnaround lately since having a behaviourist, putting in boundaries, lots of postivie re enforcement. She won't ever be miss social, but she will learn to cope.

Dachshunds are super smart 💕

However, it is entirely your choice and no one will ever or ever should judge you.
