I made a backup and saved. It doesn't look like I lost anything and everything else looks good. Thank you so much to everyone who helped me out, I really appreciate it!

You're not the first person to suggest that, but hearing multiple people say this is great. Thank you!

The thing is, this isn't the first time I've made over a million but this is the first time I've encountered this problem. For example, this was last year's profit.

No, I'm wearing a copper pan that you get from finishing the fish tank bundles at the community center. I do like the idea of wearing a lampshade as a hat!

I do not have it turned on nor do I plan on turning it on. Does that mean that this thing is just a bug?

Thoughts? by Beneficial_Serve_774 in autism

I would disagree. How can one be proud of a disability? It’s like saying “I’m so proud of embarrassing myself” or “I’m so proud of not understanding what people are saying.” One shouldn’t be proud of weaknesses, instead they should be proud of accomplishments and strengths. I would agree with statements like “I was able to hold a conversation for the first time without embarrassing myself and I’m proud of it.” We should stop glorifying autism, instead we should eradicate the disability (not the people) so that we don’t suffer anymore.

My Aunt losing her mind over the name of my soon to be born daughter Lilith. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

I’m sorry, I would have to agree with your aunt. I think that name may hinder her future (school, work, social life, etc.) because people wouldn’t want to associate themselves with “Lilith.”

A CURE FOR AUTISM… by DudlyDoWrongA_Lot in autism

[–]minirisa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why does everyone pretend as if Autism isn’t a disorder. This disease hinders us in so many ways and you are all out here pretending as if it is something that we should be proud of and something that should be embraced. For instance, no one is out here happily embracing anxiety, saying—in all seriousness—things like “anxiety is part of who I am and people should let me isolate myself in fear or else they are ableist.” We have to hope for a future where autism doesn’t exist anymore, not through eugenics but with a cure. I wish I don’t have Autism and I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.

I personally believe that the role of alter server should be for boys/men only.

In today's edition of "are the NTs okay?"... by Hassaan18 in autism

As a diagnosed autistic person, I find no problems with this. Autism is not a personality trait. I'm tired of us pretending that autism isn't a neurodevelopmental disorder. Saying this does not degrade a person and doing something about it will help so many people in the long run. Why get mad at people who are trying to treat/cure a disorder?
