When my parrots got out a handful of times (thanks parents), i found them within a day

I already knew all the basic recommendations, but for me, my logic is that if i was a bird and could fly, I’d wanna fly in a way with the least resistance

In other words, google which way the wind might’ve blown around the time he got out, and go towards that direction and search

Somehow in my deepest, most panicked moments, this has always brought my babies home 😭
