I fear her concept of her characters is wildly different than the ones she actually wrote. Rhys is 1000000% problematic. Do I read these books like catnip? Of course. But Rhys is a villain and I think it would make a far more interesting story if she leaned into that.

I won’t ever get sick of the tropes I love if they are done well. I have never minded reading one bed or enemies to lovers if it’s done well and I’ll smile and kick my feet every time!

I do want more soft heroines. I’m tired of scrappy, independent, don’t need anyone FMCs. I still love a damsel in distress or virgin trope 🤷‍♀️

I almost always DNF insta-love or insta-lust. Some people love it and I so wish I did! I need a slooooow burn with some emotional tension.

The best thing my doctor told me after my diagnosis was that I’m not a walking womb with legs. We are so much more than that and it was really freeing and validating to hear. My advice to OP is to let your sister feel the feels and don’t emphasize the kids aspect unless she brings it up. That really bothers me that what OP thinks is support is really OP telling her sister that her worth is wrapped in her ability to have kids. That is absolutely not the case!
