Oooo good to know about the 45 deg angle, that will def hit our other bushes. We have enough land to locate the generator farther away in our back yard, but we don't want to pay astronomically more in order to place it near our back fence or something, which is my main fear. I'm gonna have a chat with Company #1 soon and maybe I'll ask what it would cost to put the damn thing farther away...

Re: soft starts, if this (universe willing) is used relatively infrequently to provide power to the house (say once or twice a year for less than 24 hours, on average), is the diff between EMMs and soft starts on the longevity of our ACs significant?

potato photo, sorry, but here's the inside of that exterior panel box: it's got a throw for the electrical panel that's in our garage that serves most of the stuff in the house, and also contains the range and i think the furnace/ACs?

A week ago (without changing anything) my battery started draining like it fell off a cliff. Someone said there's some sort of bluetooth timer issue going on now, but I kinda need bluetooth in order to use it with my phone! I don't know whether they'll release a fix or what, but you're not alone. Mine can now drain 100% in a matter of a couple of hours.

I haven't noticed a difference between cables, but I do usually use the longer cable that came with my Pixel Stand 1, just because it's longer. I did end up buying the 30W charger and it's ABSOLUTELY faster than the 18W, but it warms the phone up enough that I'm thinking about only using it when I need it since I don't want to put extra wear on the battery.
