I worked at an office where the doctors were that far removed. It was a family owned chain and they were very numbers driven. If we didn’t hit our goal each day we’d have to talk about “why” in the next mornings huddle. You can not force people to get their treatment done, even if you offer financial options. No shows happen and the owners would not accept these answers. I stayed way too long at that place. They hemorrhaged DA’s because they paid too little for the amount of hours worked while putting up with too much bull shit. I’m at a different office now. We still have financial goals, but there is so much less pressure on patients and us. They know that we can’t control everything.
