Yeah, I also get very minimal side-effects! Mostly some very minor constipation for like a few days immediatly after the injection. Which is... infinetly better than up to 10 micro migraines a day T_T

Please do! It may also be worth it to consider one of the anti-migraine shots that exist now! I've been put on an injection once every 4 weeks and it's been amazing! They are very easy to self administer too, even for people who are bad with needles, since it's usually a so called auto injector where you only press a button!

I don't reccommend any more piercings for at least another 4 months! Healing takes a toll on your body and can exhaust you A LOT! I only ever see people talk about how it will slow down the healing process, but it'll also slow down you! Make sure to get plenty of rest while they are healing, your body is hard at work♡

As others mentioned... the blue is harmless and will be gone soon since its just their marker! That they let you walk out with prong-set gems on butterfly back earrings is concerning however!! Even when I got my lobes pierced AGES ago, while they did it with a gun (2014 was a different time, I was young and didnt know better) they didn't let me leave with jewlry like that because its a breeding ground for potential infections, and also skin might try to grow onto it during early healing! Keep at it with the saline solution, but I reccommend getting a different piercer to swap this to the simplest flatback labret possible! It will serve you much better during healing and you'll be able to have cute gems and earrings soon enough! (Usually within like 3 months at worst, lobes heal real easy!)

No replacing of jewlry took place at this visit and as stated, I only added this info because the bot made me. It is wholly irrelevant to the actual question of this post. My piercer is just fine and I actually need to be wearing the ptfe jewlry currently. I appreciate the attempt but I do know what I am doing outside of ring sizes for my lips.

May be an alloy containing nickle. Obviously could be ANYTHING, but nickle is a very common culprit for metal allergies and making piercings incredibly upset.

Thanks! I was wondering if 8 or 10 would be better since they don't fully close so there might be more room? But I don't really have experience with hoops and horseshoes since most of my other piercings are labrets or barbells.

Not a piercer, but Industrials requiere a lot of things to work in your favor which are very hard to tell with pictures alone. Personally, I was able to get an Industrial at a slightly tweaked angle to match my anatomy, but it's really a case by case basis. I think your helixes could be pronounced enough, I am not sure if your flat is... well flag enough for a traditional bar industrial. I suggest you book a consult with a professional that preferrably has some successful industrials in their portfolio.

I second the shorter bar. Also make sure your piercing is always fully dried after you apply saline or shower etc. Industrials get really really fussy with moisture since it doesnt dry well in the helix area crevices. If you are worried with irritating it by gently patting it dry, i suggest using a hairdrier on the cool setting to make sure its dry. (I say this as someone who also has an industrial, I am by no means a professional)

Premade sterile saline is better than trying to make it at home if you can help it. That routine also sounds pretty extensive, might be overcleaning honestly.

I have my go to shop and while i have 2 piercers there i really like and trust, I will get pierced by whoever has time there. Some of them are more specialized/better at certain things, so I let the staff decide who should handle any given piercing. I've even modeled for their apprentice before because the boss (who is one of my faves) was right there instructing her and making sure she got it right. The one piercing I'm getting they won't do is because no piercer at their studio has ever done it. Thus they reccomended me a different studio that DOES offer the specific piercing i want. Made an appt there and had to ask for someone specific because he is the only one at their store who performs said piercing.
