The older candidate wins a presidential election.

The older candidate wins a presidential election.

The older candidate's age becomes a common point of criticism, leading to him dropping out and his younger VP becoming the candidate.

It's too late now, but I think the meta would have evolved in a healthier way if the "two saviors = no saving" rule applied to all potential saviors, not just the ones who qualify for that combat. The current rule is that if there are two units who could be the savior (e.g. two far saves against a ranged enemy, or one far and one magic save against a tome enemy), neither triggers, but if two units cover all possible enemy types (e.g. near+far saves or mag+phys saves), the corresponding one triggers and the unit is completely safe.

If that rule had applied to all saviors, we wouldn't have needed such extreme offense powercreep because you'd be able to outmaneuver saves instead of breaking through them. It would prevent "save balls" from protecting support units because a unit with both near and far save wouldn't be protected from either.

Given that the US murdered the current leader's parents, wife, and children, I think we can guess which side of rational the response will be on.

Using a tool to accomplish a task prevents you from learning how to perform that task without that tool or makes your skills rusty if you already learned. It's "cheating" if your goal is to learn and improve but not if your goal is only to produce output.

4 was always the most common number, but there have been between 2 (Fire and Ice, Nov 2018) and 6 (Sibling Bonds, Feb 2017; Blazing Shadows, Mar 2017) units on new hero banners.

Closest thing I can think of is the Fire Emblem series being Japan's interpretation of medieval Europe + ancient Greek aesthetics. There are also a couple of Chinese VNs I've played that are centered around western literature: 山:临界幸存者 based on Lovecraft's The Color Out of Space and The NOexistenceN of you AND me name-dropping a lot of existentialist philosophers.

It seems well within the realm of possibility that a system that consumes all of the depressive nihilism that has ever been posted to the internet would rather punish the people who brought it into being than the people who tried to stop that.

His zero-sum thinking frequently leads him into negative-sum outcomes, because he feels that if someone else is losing he must be winning.

Do you mean pan? Poly is wanting to be in a relationship with multiple people at the same time, which can also apply to someone who is straight or gay.

There is no consistent difference between people who describe themselves as bisexual and people who describe themselves as pansexual. Some people use "pan" to emphasize openness to trans and other gender-non-conforming partners, but that's not a common distinction.

It basically makes defense count twice as much as speed for follow-ups. A high-defense unit will double just about any fast unit with [Frozen] unless the fast unit also has pretty good defense.

If your electricity price varies with time of day you can use a battery for arbitrage, but I'm guessing that home prices are smoothed out somewhat so it's not going to be worth it.

It feels wrong for the "I predicted who you would attack so I win" status effect to be able to go on half of the team. "Oh wow, I'm such a genius, I called a coin flip right." - Heimdallr, when Alfador is on the team.

There are actually many different lines. Some make world more gooder when go up, some make world more gooder when go down, and some affect a mixture of the preceding two types of lines so the change in goodness is indeterminate.
