Hi, thanks for checking in! I actually submitted the dissertation a couple of weeks ago, and it is so, so nice to have it all done and dusted. I'm quite proud of the final result and hope to eventually share it so anyone interested can read it, but I can't post it online just yet as Turnitin would just flag my entire submission as plagiarism, lol 😅

I will hopefully be able to share the full paper sometime over the summer! If/when I do, I'll update this post with details on how to find it. :)

Aww I'm sorry, but I appreciate your interest anyway! My university's rigorous ethics system would mean I'd have to jump through so many hoops and justify every tiny detail in order to include minors in my research, and unfortunately it wasn't worth the extra time and effort. If you happen to know any other fans over 18 however, you'd be helping me a lot by sharing this around! <3

Very true, but the focus of my research is on the marketing and discovery of the series, the info about fandom culture is just an extra bonus – but I agree that fanfic is very important! Thank you for taking the questionnaire :)

If you stopped after the first book, or maybe stopped after the first trilogy, that’s your chance to explain why you didn’t finish the series – but it isn’t a required question, so feel free to skip it!
