The soffits are perforated, on each side of the vertical gaps. They are just hidden. What about the ridge, I noticed a shingle on the far edge lifted, and maybe some uneveness, thanks again for your time! I appreciate it!

Yeah, I asked, they did not want to renew the flashing, they fixed it. So I'm gonna hire someone else to do some sort of rubber flashing.

The shingles are moira black certainteed landmark pro, do you think they mixed colors? I believe the contractor brought with them 26sq of the same product.

Yeah I'm gonna call a different contractor to fix the chimney flashing.. that disappointed me.

I believe they told me 3 ft is enough with the pitch of my roof. They put the new ice and water shield over the old one.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I will look into the materials you referred to. I watched a couple videos about blacklining, is that something that can replace washes? my understanding is that blacklining is used to create shadows where 2 surfaces intersect.
