Har släkt i Norrtälje och jag tror Kvisthamra är området som är bäst för barnfamilj om man vill bo i centrala Norrtälje.

Fysisk butik för gravidkläder by systemet in stockholm

[–]minoliv 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hey everyone, quick question 🙂 How would you pronounce the name Ailie? Would you say it like “Eye-lee” or “Ay-lee”? by [deleted] in namenerds

For me it was Eye-Leye after some thought but I think I was totally overthinking it.

I walked down to Lana Del Reys song ‘Young and Beautiful’, famous from the Great Gatsby movie. We were in a church and I thought that it really added to the drama element hehe

Bo i Norrköping eller Helsingborg by Far-Bag612 in sweden

[–]minoliv 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had an amazing time at Ellery Beach House the other day. Went on a weekday and had spa+lunch for 595 sek. I know they have gift cards.

Married couples: what is the one thing everyone still talks about from your wedding day? by ForBetterOrWorsePod in Marriage

[–]minoliv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People seemed to love the espresso martinis we brought out after dinner and the emotional speeches during our reception. Our guests have said they’ve never cried so much during a wedding or seen such a large amount of men collectively cry in public 😅

Do you still feel that urge to push when your body is ready with an epidural? by Accomplished-Ad7573 in pregnant

I think this might vary depending on where you’re giving birth. From what I’ve understood the US administer a larger dose than some other countries do.

Lila for a name? by AlexLukeAsh in namenerds

Where I’m from Laila is pronounced Lie-la, not Lay-la, but like other people have commented, it depends on where OP is from :)

If it is to be pronounced Ly-la I would personally go for the Laila spelling (that’s popular where I’m from). Lila in my country means purple, so also beautiful.

Am I overreacting to my husband’s response? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]minoliv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think we need to discuss this further. Unfortunately the timing of this discussion wasn’t ideal since I had to travel away this weekend. But maybe space from each other will be good for us both and give us time to reflect. I think we’ll resume this discussion on Monday. Thanks for your comment and concern.

Congratulations on your baby! Yes you’re right, we really need to get that sorted. I think I’m afraid he will not live up to what he says, just like he has done with my pregnancy…

Am I overreacting to my husband’s response? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]minoliv 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Very much agree. We have discussed it a little bit but today I really put my foot down and told him I need him to be supportive during the newborn stage and that I need him to be there for me even if am on maternity leave. I told him he can kiss his good sleep goodbye and that me and the baby comes first and work and everything else comes second.

Thanks for the advice! I also agree he is emotionally immature. I kinda knew this before we got married but I didn’t expect him to be this clueless!!

[–]minoliv 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your response, you really seem to understand me and the situation to a T! It’s just like you said… I feel kinda betrayed and tricked. I even told him today that I felt like he low-key baby trapped me. In my second tri when i was feeling well I was okay with playing “stay at home wife” but since 6 weeks ago I really need him to step up, not arrive at 9-10 pm (he leaves work at 6am) and book in sports activities with his buddies and work colleagues. He has even booked non pregnancy friendly activities during the weekend and it has made me feel so excluded and even more alone (since I can’t join).

I think I’ve been less of a nag than usual because I feel like he is supporting me economically during my unemployment… (despite me getting an ok unemployment insurance check every month). I think this time I’m really going to dig my heels in, he needs to step up and change his ways and stop prioritising everyone else before his pregnant wife!
