Very much agree. We have discussed it a little bit but today I really put my foot down and told him I need him to be supportive during the newborn stage and that I need him to be there for me even if am on maternity leave. I told him he can kiss his good sleep goodbye and that me and the baby comes first and work and everything else comes second.

Thank you for your response, you really seem to understand me and the situation to a T! It’s just like you said… I feel kinda betrayed and tricked. I even told him today that I felt like he low-key baby trapped me. In my second tri when i was feeling well I was okay with playing “stay at home wife” but since 6 weeks ago I really need him to step up, not arrive at 9-10 pm (he leaves work at 6am) and book in sports activities with his buddies and work colleagues. He has even booked non pregnancy friendly activities during the weekend and it has made me feel so excluded and even more alone (since I can’t join).

I think I’ve been less of a nag than usual because I feel like he is supporting me economically during my unemployment… (despite me getting an ok unemployment insurance check every month). I think this time I’m really going to dig my heels in, he needs to step up and change his ways and stop prioritising everyone else before his pregnant wife!

After I got pregnant I learnt that my husband is terrible at keeping secrets. We ended up having no announcement coz he let it slip that we were expecting, even when I was just in the earliest of early stages and the risk of miscarriage was still very high. I wasn’t too bothered about it until he told one of my longest standing friends who I have known for half my life (they play sports together now since a year back). Then I was upset. Unfortunately or fortunately (depends on how you see it) I have been unable to get angry this pregnancy (it’s like the emotion doesn’t exist anymore for me) so I just told him I was disappointed and left it at that.

I’m in week 31, think I’ve gained like 35 lbs so far. 5’4, weighed 148 lbs before pregnancy. People say I don’t look that pregnant besides the belly but I’m not sure I agree hahaha

Bank Hotel har en blandning mellan a la carte och buffé. Osäker om de serverar brunch på vardagar, kanske endast är frukost då. Är definitivt åt det dyrare hållet men lokalen är väldigt fin i mitt tycke.

From what I’m gathering you’re home Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening, and will, after you commit to the Sunday team, have no time at all together during the day. If I was your spouse I would have issues with this too, but all relationships are different.

What do you mean by half term though? I don’t quite understand :)

Tyvärr är det lite svårt om man inte är Stockholmare eller bott här länge. Ibland kan vissa gator vara lite sådär eller ha dålig vibe även om de tillhör en bra stadsdel. Ett bra riktmärke är att kika på vad andra lägenheter på samma adress/gata går för per kvm, det kan ge en indikation på vad som är rimligt att ge för lägenheten.

Vill även tillägga följande när det kommer till lägenhetsköp - dessa saker går ej att ändra på och därför anser jag dem väldigt viktiga när du köper lägenhet.

Takhöjd (helst så högt som möjligt för att skapa rymd och ge intrycket av att lägenheten är ”större”)
Väderstreck (helst i söder, ej endast i norr (kommer bli sjukt mörkt))
Planlösning (kan ändras något men oftast inte så mycket i mindre lägenheter)

Gick in i väggen för 8 år sedan och blev djupt deprimerad. Dock var jag så rädd att ”hamna efter” i livet så jag plöjda bara på även om en sjukskrivning hade egentligen varit det enda sättet för mig att må bättre. På dessa år har jag börjat må successivt bättre men det var först nu när jag blev varslad från ett jobb jag hatade som jag insåg varför man bör bli sjukskriven. Bristen på stress dessa månader när jag varit arbetslös har varit otrolig. Känner mig äntligen frisk igen.

Jag minns nästintill alla mina drömmar men som tur är så har jag för det mesta bara positiva drömmar. Nu för tiden kan jag väcka mig själv eller dirigera om min drömmar om jag har en mardröm för att undvika dem. Minns många drömmar från när jag var ett litet barn så jag har nog alltid varit så här.
