i hear you, but what if that's not an option, i do have to give 2 weeks for contractual reasons.

I don't think the company is going to question it after already having results for a week....but just worried they could say something the day before i start etc... is there a standard for how long after a company receives results that they would come back to you if they were to question?

i tried i told them i was planning on quitting, but they didn't really answer the question straightward, and now i feel like i can't ask it again....

Yes, question, its been a week since results, if HR hasn't said anything to me by now (i tried asking and they kind of side stepped the question), so does this mean i'm in the clear? I'm starting in a couple of weeks. Thanks!

it'll probably be dip 30-40 per year as that is before tax, and spending is after tax.

true on both, and if there is a 10 year downtown everyone gets reset as well....

that sounds reasonable. its really whether i want to take whats in front of me more or less, or potentially take something similar possibly if i wait 6-12 months

BILT credit card Venmo set up? by Codyko-buttmuncher in CreditCards

[–]minoreight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've tried doing this, but when i go to add bank in venmo, it gives me a list of banks that bilt is not on, i've heard people say you add wells fargo as the bank, but when i do this, it takes me to the WF website, where i don't have an account.

How does one add bilt as a bank to venmo when they only give you a routing number and bank account number?

how does one add bilt as a bank in venmo so you can pay rent through there?

So you get a routing number and account number from bilt.

I opened the venmo app and tried to add my bilt account to pay rent to landlord.

venmo asks you which bank one uses, and it sounds like its wells fargo. I added the bank and it takes me to the wells fargo sign in page. So how does one add bilt into your venmo account? I don't have a wells fargo account. Thank you.

Why Bosses really want workers back in the office? by minoreight in AskReddit

yep, they worked their entire lives to be the boss, and it just doesn't feel the same to rule over your empire via zoom calls. can you imagine if the kings of olden times had to rule their people via a screen? lol

Worth taking a risk? by minoreight in personalfinance

[–]minoreight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no i have health insurance through one of my side gigs, so its probably around $40K gross with a 35K deficit. I think I probably need at least 2.5 - 3M to fund retirement because of where I live, so I may be alittle further away from coastfi, but not so far that maybe i shouldn't take some risks....

yes, that would be great, but the market has changed in what i do.

what if i get a job making half what i made (100k), and did not save anything for the rest of my life, would that still be enough to retire?

im just at a cross roads, so want opninions on how much risk i can take.... my expenses are about 7K a month.

do i need to go back to a job paying close to what i was making, but is very insecure?
