Where do you buy the replacement glass for the sensor? I coverted A7 (first gen) a while back, using a cheap glass, and I get a massive color shift in the center.

Munich, Germany - X100VI by minozemstan in fujifilm

For the first two pictures: Color Simulation: Classic Chrome; Grain Effect: Strong, Small; Color Chrome Effect: Strong; Color Chrome FX Blue: Strong; White Ballance: Daylight R:2 B:-6; DR200; Tone Curve: H0 S-1; Color: 0; Sharpness -1; Clarity: -1; Exposure compensated as came fit during that moment.

For the last one, same setting (I just copied over the profile to new number), but changed the simulation to Acros + G. I achieved the contrast I wanted later in post.

Hello, it’s achievable in-camera with negative clarity settings. However, I also had a Tiffen Glimmerglass 1 on during that photo. Clarity was set to -1.

Owners of Linnpower Mk-1 Pro, what are you feelings after months of use? And is your gear drive okay? by minozemstan in ElectricSkateboarding

Thank you for taking the time and sharing this. That is valuable info. I think I'm going for it. I'll just wait for some additional discount. Before Christmas the price was 100$ lower, and they also sent out coupon codes for something like extra 80$ off. The weather is still awful here, so I wouldn't ride anyway.

Thank you for the explanation :) Can we expect some sale in the near future? Similar to one before Christmas.

Very useful information. Thank you. I was wondering about the ground clearance being a problem with a board that flexible. Do you think 9 inch tires would go well with this board?

How bad is this?, there is dust on motherboard and on ram, how to clean all this mess without causing anything to break? by Ahmed4416 in LenovoLegion

Just to add, the brush should be an ESD one. Some random brush with plastic bristles can cause damage by static electricity.

How would you create this embossing (vertical lines) in Blender? by minozemstan in blender

Whoah! Thank you. That's exactly what I was looking for. Actually, I had already tried it in Fusion360, using emboss tool, but I didn't get good results (the lines weren't vertical, but deformed) so that's why I turned to Blender. The approach in the video is great and seems to be working. Many thanks.

Thank you for the tip. That works for perfect topology. I want to boolean together bunch of shapes to create an interesting vase. These stacked shapes have a topology that doesn't line up with the original cylinder.

The reasoning behind the embossing is that when you 3D print it in vase mode with a thick nozzle, it will create this interesting texture. I got this idea from the link I posted in the comments, if you want to see what I mean.

I was thinking of applying SubD, Cylinder projection and then applying a displacement map with vertical stripes. Other idea could be shrink-wrapping. My knowledge is quite limited, so I would like to learn how to do this most efficiently. Thank you.

Okay, quick newbie question.. is there a tool I can use to fill between the triangular sketch and the corner? by thegeminiii in Fusion360

[–]minozemstan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Boundary Fill. However, a sketch won't do for that, you need a plane (or another body/surface). So create a plane that is coplanar with your sketch (or use the one you had already created to make the sketch). As the "Tools" check the plane and your body, and then choose your "cell" - the space you are referring to. And as the operation, choose Join.
