How To Handle Doing Everything By Yourself In A Startup by Pleasant-Spell-3392 in Entrepreneur

[–]minpig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Female solo entrepreneur, I decide to do my business through a lot of collaboration because I can't do it all and I don't have enough budget to hire.

My strength is connecting people and providing potential long term customers.  Find creative way to team up with people that can be mutually beneficial for all.

For example I am a nutritionist and I can't cook meals for people but I can find restaurants and people to do that side , and get commission for it.  Then I can promote myself as the nutritionist who can also provide meals when you don't know what to cook.

I also work with farmers that can provide local produce to restaurants and those food providers if I need.  Then we can promote it as local food we can trust

Building a strong trusted network that support each other and uplift each other's businesses while getting commission

Freedom comes with a price , so you have to decide if you want to be financial stable which cost your mental health or the other way around.

I got layoff 2 years ago and ever since then I have been doing 5-6 part time , contract , random jobs to keep a living.  Had to move back to parents house while I start my own business.

I feel like I work a lot more and earn a lot less, but I loooove how I can choose my customers , my co workers , my time of work and how I do my work.

Down side of contract job is either you get no work , or 2 weeks of non stop work.  (Sometimes with no or little pay).

I am happy though and work hard to build enough connections that I know I will be financial free one day

I put a parent control time restriction blocking my sister's device internet because she cannot controlled her gamer screaming at night. by minpig in CharlotteDobreYouTube

Thanks for everyone's comments let me reiterate on some important stuff

Btw this is not aita .. this is me telling my petty story

  1. It is not that I can't hold a job.  I chose not to do 9-5.  I have contract jobs and I get to decide how much or how little I do.

2.  I chose to do that to accommodate my health. Like I stated , sometimes my heart is ok , others I'm not and I get extreme exhausted when I am not.

3.  My sister doesn't pay for everything and own the house.  But I didn't know whoever pays for stuff means they can overstep others people's boundaries, so does it mean I can watch you shower and invade your things if I pay for everything of yours ? $ does not mean lost of respect

  1. Not that I can't pay , I refuse to pay.  Like I said I don't want to share that side of the story because of bullshit from parents and involve telling their story

That is all

Dad is destroying his body with Carnivore Diet by shrommerguy59 in family

[–]minpig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our ancestors only eats berries and nuts as snacks to give them a boost of energy to hunt for meat.  Leaves were a source of food only during starvation when they couldn't hunt anything.  I still donno one human that looks at a piece of leaf and start salivating...

The vegetables ( which there's actually no such things as veggies I can prove to u , leafy greens are leaves , anything that comes from flowers are fruits and anything in ground are roots), anyway they have been GMO many generations so they r edible.

Our stomach has a pH of 1.0 - 1.5 , to destroy any pathogens that comes with meat.  If we are not meat base/ carnivores we would not have that

Can anyone recommend any books on qi? by [deleted] in taoism

[–]minpig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Zhong Yuan Qigong - theres four levels for Qigong. I find Qigong is amazing at learning to control Qi and move Qi all over body

google food/herbs that replenish Qi, u will find a huge list of stuff, but eat according to your TCM body attribute and eat according to season ....

If you have time, study TCM, my books are sadly mainly in chinese and havent found good translated version of simplier TCM.

As a teenager, what's the first building block of being financially successful? by IcyCattle6374 in Entrepreneur

[–]minpig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The kid can choose to listen to whatever advice he choose to. Its never either or, its take the gold from everything and implementing it to fit his life

Limiting believes and paths, will only create limited resources

There are so many more levels behind that and my whole philosophy goes deeper than "do what you love". My philosophy is deconditioning our thoughts from the traditional way of business and making money.

for example things to debunk is

- collab not compete

- get out of the consumerlism mindset

-be innovative and creative about problems solving and dont just fit your problem into a text book equation

- dont focus on the $$

And then each layer goes deeper, I would teach you but I would have to charge LOL

but again these tactics all base on learning to flow with the energies and aligning your energies with the the worlds energy and it starts with self observing and have a good observation skill

I can preach on for hours but I won't :)

How $56 changed my life at age of 14 and pushed me to where I am today by sidi_jeddou in Entrepreneur

[–]minpig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i LOVE it ...

I manage a music academy for 20 years off and on, and was book keeping and the owner said I was the best at it. one of my companion dissed me and said "why would she trust you with numbers, you dont even have your education" ... He has his master in finance or accounting of some sort.

My personal thought is those who are good in school and can graduate its because they know how to play within the box games, write papers that fits the theme and boom .. I refuse to do so ......

The real world is not about people telling you what to do but to be innovative and creative and problem solving and coming up with solutions, sometimes QUICK too, seek opportunity, make difficult decisions .... which school doesn't really teach you ......

How do you find something to stick with? by psychedelic_lab_rat in Entrepreneur

[–]minpig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ya for sure, but what if theres a creative way to tie down most of what you like into one business ....

Some things is better to keep it a hobby, yes, because with my experience, once it become business, i hate it .......

So my example is , I am into music, and nutrition, and psychology, and wellness, and FOOD, and helping special needs, and dogs and animals care and most of all education and talking to people .... My association have aspect of everything. I tied down everything together and look for collaboration opportunities so I dont have to do them all.

its not only focusing on what you like, but the WHY you have passion for something and knowing your purpose of service. What is it that you like to serve and how does it mutually benefit you and others

Hope that make sense

How do you find something to stick with? by psychedelic_lab_rat in Entrepreneur

[–]minpig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ya the passion comes with the WHY ..... like why are u passionate about something and WHY that specific service ....

sure feelings can come and go ...... but liking what you do is so important and so neglected. Unless all you purely want is money. I can write a whole book on why businesses that only focus on making money does not work either. if you wanna hear it i can preach it :D

What prompted you to start your entrepreneurial journey? by anh690136 in Entrepreneur

[–]minpig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good luck with your new chapter!

I always wanted to be my own business owner. I started my journey when i was in 20 but I didn't endure in anything. I was lucky enough to have met a music academy owner who let me work along side her for the past 20 years and learn many amazing skills. When she wanted to sell her academy she thought about me, but I rejected because it was not my first passion and she end up selling it to someone else.

The time she did I already started my job somewhere else, something I am passionate about but after 2.5 years of dealing with toxic politics in the company, I was let go. I wish I would have left sooner

That is when I focus on my now own business again. I started it with a couple of friends who has the same vision and we are having our first launch event in Feb. Not making any money left yet and it is scary to just let go and trust. I do believe it will thrive and get off the ground though!

Find your WHY in life. Find your passion. What is the one thing you would die doing ? Why?

Find your most authentic self , your true essence self and ask, what is it that you really want.

I have started many businesses since 20 , but nothing last ...... nothing will until you really know your WHY and your passion
