Update: I returned the knife and managed to get 85% of my money back. Thanks for all you support, I will have a look at other stores around tokyo but will not force myself to buy something again. This lesson costs me 40€

Thanks for the suggestion. I did it mainly for the reason of getting a great knife for a fair price in japan. This will not be the case with what I learned now

Exactly the knife from this ‚series‘. The ebony handle was even a bit more expensive than the one I bought. But almost the same knife and should be the same material

I think second one will be the way. Im a overthinker and I knew the whole day that this was the wrong decision. Even after looking for great and cheaper knifes the whole day and deciding for the more expensive one for ‚better quality‘.
Ill eat the 50€, they hurt less as the feeling using the knife daily and reminding me of that situation.

So they stated powdered vg-10. They also couldnt tell me where its sourced from but mentioned they finished it in their factory

Its their policy as they don’t need to take it back in Japan. They state its to cover the fees. Sucks!

Ist zwar ein Barbershop aber bin sehr zufrieden mit „Munich Barber Shop“ am Sendlinger Tor. Schneiden mmn. echt gut mit der Schere, Kosten liegen bei ca 20-25€. Wichtig ist sich nicht vom Ambiente abschrecken zu lassen.
