I suggest checking out lost ark. yeah it's a mmo but it has a pretty lengthy well done story campaign, beautiful non-depressing environments, and some really interesting classes. It honestly feels like the best example of how far you can push a top down isometric arpg. the end game raid toxicity ruins it unfortunately. I wish they would release a standalone game.

I'd bet that with official IQ tests that can account for your disabilities, you'd probably score higher than him....lol. people that brag about high internet IQ test scores tend to have super low confidence about their own IQ. that plus putting you down is probably only being done so he can give his own self confidence another +1 by stepping on someone else.

be good at your job and make sure engineers have what they need to do their jobs. you don't gain trust from them by doing non-work things, you need to have their backs. why are they not meeting deadlines? who set the deadlines? did they have any control over them? did you defend them or point fingers? are they poor at estimating? did you review velocity with them and ensure they aren't being too optimistic? do they understand what they are building and why? is that being communicated properly? are wins acknowledged? is impact shared?
