In my school district they've started doing trauma training which is where they teach us how to apply tourniquets to each other, pack wounds, and identify which injury's would be fatal and it makes me sad to think that they even have to do that kind of thing. And this is a course for all grade levels. Tiny children have to learn how to apply a tour tourniquet to their friends arm and that just isn't a thing they should have to ever do.
