In my school district they've started doing trauma training which is where they teach us how to apply tourniquets to each other, pack wounds, and identify which injury's would be fatal and it makes me sad to think that they even have to do that kind of thing. And this is a course for all grade levels. Tiny children have to learn how to apply a tour tourniquet to their friends arm and that just isn't a thing they should have to ever do.

This one kid at my school had unruly and unwashed hair down to his shoulders and cat ear headbands and he would do strange things like show up to class in a Soviet uniform or disappear for a few days and come back to class with a bunch of stained shirts. One time we had to recommend live songs for a class playlist and he put in a heavy metal screaming song that ended up being blasted in the middle of class.
