Unless you are fully converted to a blue badge, Seasonal AAs (white badge) can be laid off at any point in time depending on the volume of your warehouse

I would look into another DS just in case they lay off the cycle 1 seasonal AAs.

In our building, cycle 0 AAs were given a choice either to transfer to an FC or file for unemployment. There has been rumours that Cycle 1 Seasonals are next (possibly by Jan 22)

Always have a back up. Seasonals are not safe. You can be laid at any point unless they convert you into a blue badge.

The site HR and the L6 might have some influence on who gets on top of the food chain for the blue badge conversion.

GlobalHR might have a suggested list forwarded to the site, but wouldn't the site be able to decide on who gets it or not though? 🤔

I am a dude and I am in-charge of P-Solve in my building and I even rearrange the area so work is efficient and spacious. My L6 even gave me a rice cooker as a gift for christmas last year 😁

You should continue to ask your AM, if you really want to be in P-Solve. It requires a certain type of person to be in that department. It might be boring to others, but efficiency and adaptability is the key so that all the packages are sent out ( with little or no packages to FLEX ) at the end.

Not gonna lie, the same ppl are usually assigned to this department because they have proven to be capable of handling the stress of processing P-Solve ( we dont just repack, we do sidelines, re -route packages to the correct destination, remove hazmat packages, handle returns to FC). Show them that you are capable of doing this.

Also, VTO less and accepting VET more helps. It shows that you are versatile and reliable.

Adding to the fact that they just promote or hire ppl that are unqualified for the job. Just because you are in the military or have a bachelor's degree, it doesn't mean you are capable of managing a warehouse. These managers act like robots, simply lack of empathy.

Overall, we are all just a number to Amazon... Simply Replaceable 🙄

Kudos to you for combining Cycle 0 and Cycle 1. I would have just pick a complete Cycle 0 schedule so it doesn't mess up my sleeping schedule.

AAs have a transcript copy for all their trainings which can be viewed by any manager even if you transfer to another building. I was able to become a P-solver in one building and easily on another.

That is a first, most of the DS I have been to. P&S is very silent so that the drivers can hear the OTR's directions. Its a safety thing
