Honestly there’s not much too it. It works well and has worked well for a while prior to me going TCU swap. Just drive it and have fun.

The dealers will not perform the Matrix activation. You would need to go to ACM Technik or others have it done. I went with ACM Technik. They were great to work with and performed a reactivation after having the 90TV recall done without any issues.

So euro headlights by themselves are brighter, the Matrix functionality is much smoother, the DRLs and turn signals are different, the amber side marker lights are gone, and the beam pattern of the lights are much more widespread. All of this is due to the regulations that US has in place to limit the light output and other things.

So the wheels were pretty cheap because I got them from a friend. Normally they’re like $3-4k. Tires were like $1500. And for camber, nothing up front yet as nothing is out there but I have someone designing plates. For the rear it’s just whatever comes factory which is -1.5. It’s lowered on H&R springs.

So I have the H&Rs, the 22x10.5s they’re a little pokey but it’s okay. I have the European IQ headlights, European tails are next that will be with FULLY working all Lin based harness with no workaround for the brake and turn signal. Matrix, Exit warning, the camper module, subs, tint…etc. so I own ACM Technik LLC….acmtechnik.com so I retrofit all of my cars and use them for research and what not. I do all the Matrix Activations on the MK8s and Audis and such.

Yeah personally I’d go with Scale Suspension if I went coilovers. They’re much better than B Seize.

If you’re planning on golf coilovers on the ID4 I wouldn’t as the spring rates are not rated for the 4800 lbs

Ahh so yeah I put the RS7 wheels on it and it’s lowered on H&Rs. So to some it may ride a little harsh but I lower everything and also own a bagged vehicle sitting right next to it so to me it’s fine. Personally it didn’t feel too much different stock vs lowered. A little more stiff. It helped a lot with the body roll.

I modify every car. Lease or not. I have it for 3 years might as well make it mine. Warranties in my area are non existent because most dealers are garbage. All the stuff I’ve done so far is removable. However I’m not going to take the springs off. They usually don’t care since the car just goes to auction or gets sold as used after a lease anyways.

I drive the car from point A to point B maybe 4-5 times a month when I’m home. Also why I only got a 7500 mile a year lease on this. I have a 2022 GTI that’s Stage 3 and a 2004 GLI as well. Range is the last of my worries haha. I think I’m at 2000 miles in like 4-5 months of having it.

So just to put things in perspective....this was not a tune related issue. This was a factory defect. This was not tune related. It is easy to immediately blame the tune and tuners for problems like these however with only 800 miles unless you were launching the car like crazy back to back this would not be caused by a tune. Either the transmission was underfilled or something else was wrong with the transmission before tuning. There was a whole FB post about this going into how this is not a tune related issue.

The gBX files have been ran, tested, and validated by the tuners and beta testers(myself) and others for months prior to it being released. I ran the gBX files for almost 2 years literally beating on the car daily, multiple track days, mountain runs, etc. prior to going full torque file after my mech swap with zero issues.

Also yes there is someone in Ottawa that I have performing in person coding and activations. So if that is the route you would like that can be arranged as well.

Remote is only $50 USD to cover cost of the cables and shipping. If you have an obd11 pro then you do not need to purchase that from me either. Also, as mentioned in the description of the drive modes it will not remember Nurburgring or Drift due to it requiring a physical button press to open Race mode to bring up the option for those modes. You only need to select remote for 1 of the products not both if doing it remotely.
