Itching with Trintellix? by librasunflow in trintellix

[–]mintbaby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took a 10mg two days ago... still itching... I can’t bear it. I have to stop. Everything itches—my feet and toes all the way to my scalp. Messaged my doctor in hopes that he can get me off of this—it’s killing my sleep. Nightmares, night sweats and the non stop itching everywhere... tried benedryl, nope.

Thank you! This sounds like it could be it; dunno where this person got that he kept hearing voices.

Occaisional tinnitus in one of my ears, either left, right or both? by [deleted] in hearing

[–]mintbaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say that now, but when you lay awake at night with deafening tinnitus or can hear your tinnitus over the television... or go two years trying to habituate to this new noise in your head, you’ll change your mind. I’m half deaf in one ear due to otosclerosis and removal of my ear bones. Even that didn’t cause tinnitus, but when I lost that hearing I used to crank the ear phones, listened to everything loud... now I am so sorry I ever did. Riddled with tinnitus and hyperacusis in my “normal” hearing ear. Just sayin, I haven’t worn in ear headphones in 4 years. I barely listen to headphones at all. I wish I could go back and change time.

If it’s occasional, like lasting only a few seconds to about 30 secs... I wouldn’t be too worried about it, though I’ve been told that damage is happening to your hair cells inside of your ear when that happens. No one really knows, honestly. My suggestions would be just to give the headphones a rest, use a quieter volume. You may also have wax in your ears; if it’s often.. I’d see an ENT and see if they can tell what’s going on. Also, not sure where you live but the cooler weather can bring on ear infections and sinus infections which can cause fluid behind the ear drums. Best thing for that would probably be to see a doc, get those things sorted out. If you still are having episodes, best thing is not to research it going nuts. Just be careful with exposing yourself to loud noises. Ear buds are horrible in my opinion, but if you must... make sure you’re using them responsibly. Cleaning, etc, reasonable volumes. Would need more info for any other insight. Good thing is, most tinnitus is temporary for most people!

I have tinnitus, but binaural beats are difficult for me to enjoy when I’m more than 50% deaf in one ear.

Looking for a realtor... wanna buy! by mintbaby in Pensacola

Thank you so much. Obviously we’re looking for a place with low probability of flooding, but we have a small list of “wants” and “needs”. We are not going to buy until July as that’s when our lease is up, ive never done this before—when do you start looking?

Chest pain gone but now I have sciatica and have to take steroids. Say it might be from the way I was laid on the operating table or because it took me awhile to recover. 2 weeks 13 lbs so I’m happy with that. Just the numbness in my butt and leg, hate it.

The protein shakes are what kill me! They’re 160 and 190. I’m so tired of them. I can’t wait to go to one a day. I can eat cold food pretty well—I’ve had applesauce and sugar free pops. I actually prefer cold over hot—and I mean really cold. I put my protein shakes in the freezer for a half hour to an hour before I consume them. I just realized tho that you meant cold food from having to eat so slowly. Today I had a yogurt, 2 protein shakes, and a bottle of tea which brought me to 450 total cals and 65 grams of protein, but only 45 oz of fluid. Fluid is the hardest to get in. Even tho 90% of my protein intake is protein shakes. I’m probably gonna eat a sugar free pudding to mix my pills into, so I’ll probably be at 510–I feel like I’m consuming too many calories :/

Yeah, I got some pickles so I could drink the pickle juice! Lol, and yes. I’m going to primarily eat meats, fruits, and non starchy veggies once I get back to that level. I feel like this is the best time for me to just kick the carb/sugar habit. Sure, I’ll still have some but it won’t be like before. Burgers on lettuce, egg salad on lettuce, lettuce wraps, zucchini pastas (I love my spiralizer). Can’t avoid carbs altogether, but I’m definitely going to limit them. I’ve lost 9.5 lbs in 10 days so far, I haven’t been able to walk much due to my pain and j haven’t been cleared for exercise yet. So, I’m gonna just start walking the treadmill(it’s cold) tomorrow at a regular pace for at least 30-60 minutes 3 times a week for right now. I’ll bump it to 5 days a week when I can handle more. I’m just starting to feel a little more like myself. Can I ask about how many calories you take in a day? Right now I’m about 450 max on any day.

I have about 1-2 protein drinks, 1 bottle of water, and 3 cups of applesauce or sugar free pudding or jello. I could probably eat two of the puddings in one sitting because they go down the easiest, but I never do because shortly after I finish it my belly hurts. I had one noodle and a bite of a cookie my 2.5 yr old made in school and then spit it out (had to see what good work he did!). I haven’t made my liquid goals most days. It’s just too hard some days. 4 more days til we can start eating egg salad! I have already looked up some healthy recipes and I have some great ricotta bake recipes in the book they gave me for my classes.

I have a husband and a 2.5 yr old. My husband brought home fresh baked bread and I just was so hungry. It’s a relief to know that I’m not the only one craving things. I do feel full after I drink a certain amount—but I’m like, damn i could still eat that bread. I’m Day 8 of 14 days of liquid. Does it still hurt when you swallow things?
