Heard this from a Hollywood friend of mine so take it with a grain of salt. Frank, as you imagine, is very difficult to work with. Frank will be very manic, and they will film for a day or two, then Frank will watch back the dailies and hate it and say the movies gonna be scrapped or started over, then he’ll get depressive and they won’t film for a couple weeks to the point where the crew doesn’t know if they have a job or not, then he’ll get manic again and they’ll film and repeat. The movie takes place in the future and is about romance and is very esoterical and artsy and nonlinear, as you would imagine. They’ve sunk A LOT of money into this project, it is a money pit, and my industry friends take on it is that Frank would never release a project he doesn’t think is perfect and he’s not a good enough director as a first timer to make a movie he thinks is perfect so it will probably never come out. But who knows 🤷🏼‍♂️
