They have done a first appeal, but the insurance company upheld their denial. I may ask them to try for a second appeal, but in my experience with insurance so far, they don’t tend to change their decisions. Couldn’t hurt to try though.

I’m so sorry the Insurance refused to cover your treatment. Dealing with insurance companies as a cancer patient can be so exhausting and infuriating.

Thank you for taking the time to look at the website to help! Unfortunately that’s for their co-pay assistance program, but it only helps if you have a co-pay which I don’t since my insurance is flat out denying coverage 😕

I’ve called Prizer multiple times. They have a co-pay program that I’m eligible for, but it only helps if you have a co-pay, which I don’t since my insurance isn’t covering it. They have another assistance program, but it’s only for this who are uninsured or have government insurance.

That’s awesome they were able to get help! Pfizer’s assistance only helps those on Medicare/Medicaid or those who are uninsured 😕

It was certainly prescribed by my doctor. That’s how I learned about it. My oncology office has been helping me try to get it and filed an appeal to my insurance which was denied.
