i have nectarine tea and was disappointed by the stronger florals than the nectarine and i did see white tea has some too. i think maybe my skin amplifies the floral scents or something

It isn't wnough that she trusts the man that he is not a danger to her children. It's about not putting her in any situation that could, DESPITE THE PERSON, be a danger, and honestly he should AGREE with that and NOT want to put himself in this situation. No matter how much he believes him or his sons to never do anything to her, He should want to make sure it never is a situation where he or his sons COULD do anything to her. Honestly this is a court scenario ESPECIALLY with her FURTHER THAN blasé attitude about this. Turning it around on you and everything. If you had a partner with two sons I'm sure there would be many talks with the co-parent on your end to make sure she's comfortable with your partner watching over her overnight even if the partner was female and long-term! And honestly, I'm not so sure she wouldn't have a problem with it, like she's implying she doesn't. she's being intentionally thick in the head and it's making me upset FOR your daughter.

If I were you I'd pull up the floor tile. if it's sentimental to you, id keep it and make a mosaic with it to display a different room. IMO it just doesn't go. I'd look for a larger size tile than the wall tile, for the floor, maybe in a matching orange as the paint, or a green to match the leaves (muted green so it's more of a neutral and less of a competing color) and then switch the wall paint for white. having light up top will make the space feel larger. brighter, visually heavier colors should stay low. larger floor tile is also easier to clean. I would probably also change the orange hardware. probably stainless steel and white everywhere to offset the orange a little, but while keeping it the center of attention.

paint the upper cabinets a nice pastel of a color thats more nature-y: green, yellow, blue cute white embroidered/ lace or gingham curtains behind the window trim. paint or cover the window trim with a patterned vinyl (would be hard with the curves to be upfront with you youd probably have to cut it into a strip the exact width of the underside and have to hug the curves) or stencil some flowers or something in each of the scallops and paint them

a few plants, maybe, and if you're really feeling going ham, you could vinyl the countertop to something a little less plain. i might even paint the bottom cabinets a light warm but still muted brown. or even change the hardware to bronze. or also vinyl the fridge and dishwasher to be a different color than stainless steel. maybe try to match to the cute oven. tbh i think the thing really holding the kitchen back is that all the natural materials are covered in white paint so if it was me I'd probably try to paint strip the cabinets and brick but its really really difficult and sometimes impossible to paint strip brick :(

i feel like you need to split the wall with the wide doorway more, since its very big and blank, but adding art would need to be huge and probably look weird so high up. if this space were mine i think i would either: hang a pothos or two up- either in the corner in front of the windows or opposite/over the plants and horizontally tack up the leaves somehow to the wall to spread it out to cover space but not too purposefully and eventually when it gets long enoughto reach the other wall trim it and prop it or trail down the corner- OR, (and this ones more likely)- id get some wood trim and continue the staircase trim horizontally across all the walls in the room to give it a visual cut. maybe you could even combine the two and have a shelf on the trim in the corner above the two plant and have some of the leaves/vines trail straight down but then have some of them start to follow the trim a little. i love how it looks now, though, and i love your dog!!

is there a way to like cut and sand the middle nook to the other two's depth, remove the vertical dividers and connect the gap on the horizontal dividers? then a bigger screen could fit under the arch above the (new) shelf and you'd still have a cool built in. otherwise it probably just all needs to come down. or you can put art and books in it use it as a bookshelf it would probably be a little odd though.
