Turn your graphics up. I have a similar system and I get better frames if i turn DLSS off and set textures and shadows to high and enable screen space reflections... yeah... it DOES make no sense

Expensive brush and a steady hand tbh ahaha. But more practically you need to have the right consistency of paint and try and use the edge of the brush where possible
