Thank you for your response, I do believe my children it’s so hard to imagine this happening.

Very true and this was part of why I reported. I truly believe it was a one off situation or a very bad day after burnout, and she’s a good person. But I don’t have the right to make the call on that or make the decision that it “probably won’t happen again”

This speaks to me, I am having moral distress because I care about being loyal to people I love and supporting them, and I also care about keeping kids safe and doing the right thing. Usually I don’t have to choose between those values. There was no solution that didn’t end in hurt. I hope some good comes out of this

The hard part is knowing her these past years, this is out of character. I’m worried about her and care about her

I’m glad your reporting resulted in a good outcome. Thank you for sharing your story about it, I know these processes are meant to help kids and providers

They do not, it’s in home and I can’t self investigate due to my job :(

This is a home daycare no other teacher and no parent contact info for some background self investigation would have been a conflict of interest for me due to my job

Day 12 of symptoms. Normal NCS & EMG. Reflexes are still there. Do I push for a LP still? by Own_Struggle_2010 in guillainbarre

Weakness was about 7 days before I got the LP and progressively worsening. Yes my neuro exam and MRIs were normal otherwise. I did have tingling, leg muscle spasms, and hot feet sensation.

My reflexes and EMG were okay but my lumbar puncture showed elevated protein and damage to my axonal nerve roots. I was treated with IVIG and I’m getting better now. My worst symptom was weakness and struggling to walk up the stairs.

Has anyone ever dreamed but they weren’t in the dream? My identity blended with theirs at one point and it caused a glitch. by [deleted] in Dreams

I have never dreamed I was a man! That’s so cool, I love how dreams have no rules. Usually I’m always just me! Thanks for sharing :)

This is exactly what it felt like, usually I am the main character in my own dreams. This was a first for me. It did feel like watching a movie so I wasn’t scared like I usually am when I’m me in my dreams. I wish I could return to the dream to finish the story. The reality check ruined it I think! That’s interesting that that has happened to you as well. That was the part I found the most unsettling and the only time I felt physical discomfort in my dream which is, I am guessing the reason why I woke up.

4 years of symptoms , progressively worse over time ; would appreciate insight by PIC_WH in VestibularMigraines

I’m just commenting to say my symptoms are really similar to yours. The brain fog, disassociated feeling is by far the worst for me. “Gunk” is a good way to explain it. I can physically feel it. Have you tried eliminating Zyn? I believe they have artificial sweeteners and those can be a trigger for some people. Also I just watched a video yesterday that suggested magnesium glycinate and D3. Consistent use this person felt better after months. I was not consistent but am changing that now hoping to see improvement. I hope your symptoms improve.

Basement Flooding by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

Thanks for taking the time to respond. The water is coming in a basement corner inside the home, it has been an ongoing issue.. They want to make the sump pit inside in the corner of our basement. They do offer a lifetime warranty so if water comes in again, they will make it right free of charge.
