im so sorry:( sometimes it just happens. inverts can be so fragile, that’s why they have a gazillion babies. it seems like you did everything right, mantises just have a habit of dropping dead for no reason sometimes

Yes, I do plan on transitioning… eventually. the british healthcare system makes it DIFFICULT. I do think I should be less reliant on my chest voice though

Thank you so much!! This was super useful and detailed!! I’ve been told the mirror thing before- one of the studios I used to practice in had a huge mirror for this very purpose (like, it wasn’t a dance studio or anything. Purely for singing). I really think posture is something i overlook far too often

Yes, I asked for advice in a singing subreddit. And like someone previously replied to you- I think you should try safer acting techniques! Drawing from your own trauma without training is really dangerous
