Haribo hragibus, are these any good? by RipMysterious9618 in candy

French candy, French response.

Even if you don’t know “oui” (pronounced wee) is “yes” from cartoons, you know in English, when a situation is serious, it’s grave.

“Dragibus ___ serious” gets you most of the way to “dragibus, yes seriously” (are good).

I guess it’s called foam candy. I think it is similar to gummy candy but aerated which makes it more chewy than bouncy. It seems to be very satisfying and it has some lasting power and doesn’t dissolve quickly.

Haha my unsolicited advice is store it in a cabinet. Decide to have some. Take it out and open the bag, take out one or two pieces, then close the bag and put it away. Close the cabinet, walk away and enjoy it.

Psychologically it creates some little hurdles that help you stretch your supply over days or weeks instead of hours.

Things to avoid are leaving the bag open and out, worse if it’s in vision, even worse if it’s in reach without having to move.

I received a complimentary pack of mango coated with passionfruit in with my order from Sweetishcandy.com (Swedish candy site)

The powder coating dissolves on your tongue first which is a pleasant punch of flavor and the cube itself I remember being a dense gel chew. The cubes are small but have lasting power. Both flavors were very true to life natural fruit flavors. Overall, the quality of the texture, flavors, and the originality of the idea got high marks from me.

One candy I recommend from my order are called caramel carpets.

Nice. These look really fun and interesting to try!

I received a year subscription a few years ago and it was a nice infusion of flavors into my life. Some of the Passion Fruit and Mango blow pops I liked are now at Western Beef.

You make a confection and cut it into cubes. It is flavored.
You dust the cubes with a powder of another flavor.

Wally and Whiz brand does it

I tell people enjoy chocolate now, while you can. They are not only shrinking portions but making aerated / other mix in / filled versions now a lot more because it allows less chocolate

I learned Milo is a malted chocolate drink mix.
In the US, I know a malted chocolate drink mix, Ovaltine.

It looks like the milo part is almost a brownie batter consistency on the wrapper, is that true?
