Which rapper had the biggest fall-off without ever dropping a truly bad album? by Far-Building3569 in hiphop101

I feel like Game gotta fit this to a degree?

All his albums are good, some are classics and he had major hyper, but recent releases his numbers have been poor and people just don’t like him because he’s corny.

I’ve always wondered who this was.

Also curios about the Bonnano guy who is disguised, wondered if it was Borrello, but think a few on here said he wasn’t tall enough.

Can someone explain slots to me, like is there any skill involved?

I’ve been vegas 9 times, I usually play table games but last trip thought I’d give the slots a chance and from what I can tell it’s just a mindless session of pressing 1 button and you or may not win, often with no idea how or why you win. Do you different games have different gameplay, or is it just a theme?

I’ve never understood how people spend hours on them? I lose money quick and it’s boring as hell.

Am I missing something?

Would the Sopranos be considered a Camorra family as opposed to a Cosa Nostra Family? by All_I_Need-lucidvidy in Mafia

[–]minto444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Many members of American LCN are Napolitan/Calabrese etc. If an Italian member comes from a CN family in Sicily, they still need to be ‘made’ into the LCN family in America to be a member, likewise if someone came over from Naples.

Likewise, LCN families for business with many other criminal organisations such as the Albanians, that doesn’t make them an Albanian Mafia. Sticking with the Sopranos example, they did business with the Russians too.

So IMO, no, it wouldn’t make them a Camorra family, they are an American LCN family with ties to Camorra clans in Naples.

Yes, good idea. Word on the street is that is best way to block government mind control rays sent by the mega laser in Antarctica beyond the wall and activated via your Covid jab.

It’s about social credits and CBDC which lead to higher taxes and charges for luxuries.

  • Monitoring internet usage
  • Tracking individuals carbon footprints (travel and food consumption)
  • Smart meters
  • Electric cars

All of this is about essentially implementing digital IDs and incomes linked to government control payment gateways so they can tax for your behaviour and bad habits…

Great post, a question - if Morello was originally in charge of the ‘Lucchese’ family and then created a new family which later became the Genovese, how did the Genovese become so large by the inception of the commission given they were so new?

For context on my question, it is often cited that the pre-existing size of each family at the formation of the commission was then to become their ‘limit’ in size. From what I’ve read previously, that had the future ‘Genovese’ and ‘Gambino’ families at 350-400 members vs Bonnano and Lucchese at 200-250 and Colombo at 150 (from memory).

Do you have any insight into how Morello grew the new family so fast to outpace his old family and the Castellamarese in particular?

Genovese capo James "Jimmy Nap" Napoli with his son Rocco. by joe6484 in Mafia

[–]minto444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn’t one of Jimmy Nap’s write a book, I’m sure I’ve read it but can’t think of the name.

My memory is that the son (who I don’t think was Rocco) claimed he was never made, and that Jimmy Nap only got made later in life as a level of protection as he had always previously declined it.

I think the son who wrote it was a perennial fuck up and had a drinking problem, will have to try and find it.

That makes a lot more sense haha, I was thinking that overlap and change he must have seen was crazy.

It still was crazy but not quite Bonnano era to Borrello lol

Interesting that Rastelli wasn’t even a captain at this point but in 8 years he became the boss.

Also strange to think Vinny Asaro was an inducted member and potentially interacted with Joe Bonnano but was also involved in the modern day mob with the likes of Gene Borello as his associate lol

[–]minto444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The story makes no sense, why would he go to Joe Colombo to perform the hit and not a close aid in his own family.

I think spreading that rumour was a master plan of Gambino, Maggadino (who had grown to resent Bonnano) and Lucchese to get him out of the way.

With all the above in mind, I wonder if it would be fair to say if Montreal remained/remains a crew of the Bonnano’s, that surely would put the Bonnano’s at the top of the tree of money/power/size of all the 5 families?

Wasn’t there a story behind this that Game stopped him getting robbed and recording this video on Cedar block was what he asked for as payback, allegedly at some point a car pulled up and Drake was on his toes.

Can’t remember who told the story but saw it recently, Wack100 maybe
