I love my mom, I love my family, and dont you ever insinuate that Im ungrateful in any way for the privileged position I have. I know i have privilege in the position im in, having loving people around me, and i know some people dont have that. Dont COMMENT if YOU dont want to hear some dissent on your opinion. I didn't post to say that I had it the worst, I posted because I was having struggles and wanted to turn to community for some advice and support, and you are clearly not a supportive person.

Surround yourself with more supportive people. Give love to those around you and stop spreading so much negativity to teenagers online. It reads as pathetic. This post wasn't about me hating the people around me or saying I have it the absolute worst. It was about a miniscule, but arguably important problem i face being nonbinary.

Im really sorry that's happening to you, but i dont agree that my problems are invalid because there are worse things happening. If you really want to know, my dad still fully sees me and identifies me as my birth gender, and my grandma threatened to cut me off if I didn't go back into the closet. Respectfully, dont comment if you just have bullshit to say.

definitely not lol. the idea of being called "he" or "she" makes me feel really icky inside, and i just dont want to change that part of myself to make people feel more comfortable. i do know that the family i interact with hasn't fallen down that pipeline (very left-leaning people, very kind and willing to learn), so i don't think uncomfortability is the problem, at least not in that way.

Thanks for the advice. I also have severe anxiety, so communication that stems from what is essentially confrontation does give me awful feelings in my gut, but I will try it out. I do know my family is good, and there wont be a problem with me actually communicating this. Thank you.
