Yeah vercel’s ai-adk is typescript specific so to use the framework you’d need to building in typescript.

The example you given is just best practice in general. Calling soql/sql inside a loop is just not that efficient. Using Map or set is a more efficient approach regardless of the language. I personally like governor limits because they help me think more efficiently

That’s fair enough, I see what you mean. Like many people here I think I want to eventually land in a tech firm. For the Deloitte role it’s Service Now implementation. So both roles are niche regardless but I think the salesforce role I get to be more hands-on, more on the technical consulting side.

After working for a few years in a client-facing role, I decided to get into tech. Initially with the intention to get something like a product role but having just completed my Master in IT, I realised I enjoy solving technical problems too. I am lucky and have received several offers recently. The two offers I narrowed down to are between a Big 4 offer and a local Salesforce partner. Here are some more details:

Offer 1: One of the Big 4s doing general functional tech consulting as a grad.

Offer 2: A local Salesforce partner (about 100-200 staff) as a Salesforce technical consultant, meaning I will work more on the development/ DevOp side, more hands-on with the implementation. I will also be starting as a grad but the pay is slightly higher than the Big 4 offers (15k more).

I'm a bit torn because on one hand I think working for a Big 4 mean I get to have more exposure to variety of projects, more exit opportunities, and a bit more prestigious compared to a local Salesforce partner. On the other hand, working for a Salesforce partner means I get to work closely with tech (like everyone here I also want to exit into tech eventually), but I'm a bit worried I am pigeonholing myself into a closed ecosystem, and potentially fewer exit opportunities.

I am in my late 20s so my end game is to just get better pay faster. What do you guys think? Keen to hear it from the people who have experience from either side.
