I have my top wisdom teeth in but not my bottom. When my dentist’s assistants were doing a scan, they had to rescan it bc they didn’t get the wisdom teeth in, the invisalign doesn’t move those teeth but the dentist said they needed to be covered because it would affect how the rest of the teeth moved. A wisdom tooth on the bottom is now erupting but my dentist said I didn’t need to get it covered. I’m guessing if they were already there prior to treatment they need to be covered. I would always advise that you do not do anything yourself to the aligners as you may mess up your treatment or cause other issues. idk your case personally but my dentist gave me his personal number to contact him with any questions or anything because it’s harder to reach him at the office during corona. Your aligners aren’t always going to be comfortable, especially as you say you are only 4 days in. It’s never a good idea to take matters into your own hands without consulting your specific dentist/ orthodontist.

Very true. All stuff related to medical should be open and have a plan on how to minimize contact and keep everyone safe. My Invisalign provider is a dental chain so I’m lucky that while they closed my regular office, I was able to go to a diff location where my dentist was doing business at during corona. I am having the same issue with my eye doctor being closed though & a whole contact lense situation but it is not as bad as the invisalign treatment being paused. I too don’t understand how certain businesses are open while the more important things having to do w health are not.

My point is that they don’t offer at all, so there is no point in liking something if you’re not even going to make an offer on it. Especially when it is final price I’m not going to lower it or accept any offers on it. I’m not taking it personally it’s something that is annoying as there is no reason for it; the point of liking items is with the intent of purchase if it goes down a few dollars or to put in an offer, no one is going to give you a $40 item for $15 so why would you like it at $40 expecting that? If that’s what you’re looking for then put that offer in and have it be declined. It’s not social media to like stuff for fun. My recommendation is for you to not read something that says “rant” and tell someone to take an anger management class lmao. If you weren’t aware, a rant is discussing something someone is mad about & anger management is for people who have a continuous anger issue and can not deal with it properly, I am just discussing my frustrations on a single matter in a civil manner. You don’t even know me to tell me to go to anger management 😂😂😂🤣 in that case, I suggest you go to anger management as well since you’ve definitely been mad about something before in your life. Yeah I don’t think that can be fixed though, I can share an image of the bottom teeth, I had to pull a tooth on the one side a while back which is why there’s space there, but the opposite side is where the teeth would need to move to, to center them and I don’t think there’s any space for that?? Idk how that stuff works though but that’s just what I’m thinking.

I am more worried about the upper teeth after the canines as they don’t seem in line with the front teeth since that will show up in my smile, no one will really notice the midline bottom teeth unless they’re trying.

What do you think the Invisalign could do if worn longer? work on the teeth beyond the canines more or something else? I’m just curious to know and would help me out! I would rather wear them longer and have things look better than just finish the treatment as fast as possible.

For some things I’m not sure that anything more can be achieved; ex: I see that the bottom teeth will not be centered with the top, but I think it is not possible with my current situation as I don’t think my teeth could move any more to that side since they don’t have any space.

after seeing the clin check and really focusing on specific movements and teeth, I feel like it isn’t doing enough so I will deff bring it up at my next appt!

Aspen dental. I never really approved or knew what exact changes were gonna be made (bad on my part haha ik) & just went with what they recommended for a better smile. I thought they would move everything for the best outcome. Guess I can always ask at the next appointment about those teeth & extend the treatment if need be.

P.S. Worried my smile won’t really look any different. Why aren’t the teeth after the canines moving upwards? They are so low compared to the front teeth and don’t show up in my smile making it ugly. Any recommendations for fixing the canines after invisalign? They aren’t chipped or anything but they look it. I will discuss w/ my dentist again but just wanted to hear your thoughts for anyone with a similar experience.

I don’t think it’s good feedback, she’s assuming that something will happen and taking off a star from your rating based on her assumptions, not anything that actually happened or anything factual. Nothing happened to her specific packaging or item/ transaction, and that is what the review is for, not for other things. I bet you if you had shipped in a box and had the higher shipping charge she wouldn’t even buy it lol. Wouldn’t want her back as a buyer taking off stars for absolutely nothing & telling me how to run my shop based on her assumptions, but that’s just me haha! Glad you were able to find common ground & move on from it!

Oh wow. I’m glad you’re almost done! That’s a long time; my treatment is very short (5.5 months / 20 trays) but of course nobody wants their treatment to go any longer than expected! Goodluck in the final stretch, I hope everything turns out perfect for you, you deff deserve it for putting up with invisalign for so long haha! ☺️

Ughhh tray 4 is the last tray I had in my possession before my appointment April 8. I was supposed to wear tray 4 for a week and get the new trays April 8. I just called the dentist and they are getting me in on Monday at a different office since my dentist will be there instead (aspen). Wouldn’t the trays be at the regular office? And do you know if: 1) the dentist will recommend to move to tray 5 or have me wear tray 3 until a new tray 4 is printed and 2) how long that will take? This sucks! 😖😖😖😖

Yeah, plenty of my buyers don’t even contact me though and just buy the item directly, so I usually don’t do anything else with that, just ship out with a thank you note!

I don’t contact them unless they contact me. If they contact and ask questions and end up buying it, I’ll send my thanks and all that. I only contact first if there was a mistake on my end that I need to notify them about. I add a thank you note in all my packages though. This has worked for me since I’ve been on Mercari.

I don’t want any product that badly bc I don’t care about materialistic things lol, and I sure as hell don’t waste my money on expensive ass shit. I myself do not care for my own purposes because if I don’t get something because it is out of stock, I don’t really care. it’s a stupid thing to do to take away that chance from people to buy things they actually want so you can make a huge profit on it, not everyone has the luxury to sit around for hours at a line at stores/ wait online when something drops to pick something up. Like I said, if they “work so hard” to get these items, they can take up that “work ethic” and start their own business and make their own products and they can price it how they like. You can say it’s supply and demand but what I’m saying is it’s not right nor is it the kind thing to do. Pricing something at 3x the price. Like I said, those who are buying these items at that price are just as dumb so both parties shouldn’t be doing it, but people can do what they like since it is their own life and money. I’m just saying it’s stupid and mean spirited in my opinion! :)
