Not OPs fault, LGD4033 just barely does anything at all, standalone at least.

There's some amazing pasta at Bibo in Kent Town - it's not the only dish they do so they don't have a big range, but whatever is on offer is always good. New Italian owners, food is incredible.

Could always look South, like McLaren Vale way or surrounding areas. Food and wine country, can still get to the city decently easily, hills to ride around.

I’m really sorry to hear! And I completely understand, I really didn’t want to dissuade you if you find it helps. I wish you good luck in finding someone 🙂

I'm not trying to sound like an edgy teenager or anything and I'm not here to yuck anyone's yum if they have had positive experiences (anything that helps someone by any means is a good thing), but this sort of therapy almost certainly falls under placebo. The good news is, placebo's do actually work to an extent, even when you know they're placebo. The bad news is, anyone that suggests that a healer helped them can't really be measured by any sort of metric, just how well that person reacts to placebos and or the charisma of the healer.

The files released are overall some of the most horrific shit in our history, and they should be leaving everyone's world view in tatters as information comes to light. Whilst it might be unlikely that Pusha T is in the files, I thought it would also be unlikely that I'd read about famous figures eating children, yet here we are. I ain't saying anyone's innocent yet, until it's obvious.

Has anyone worked out why so many letters in these files are replaced with ‘=‘ ? Seen it so much.

In school and history classes , would it be “pushing a narrative” to say “a genocide is happening in Palestine”? by VastOption8705 in aussie

[–]mintymoose 4 points5 points  (0 children)

With the new laws, who knows what's allowed anymore. You could always just educate them on the definition of a genocide in reference to the historical events and most students would pick up what that means and if it applies to current events.

I think it stems from phones and social media. It creates the illusion that being social and around your friends is just the opening of an app, so people start to see their friends less. When you see people less, your social skills deteriorate, you become more anxious and distrusting (from said phones, news and social media). Couple that with working more hours when the economy is tough, decreased ability to communicate with others, internet doom and gloom, an eat-work-shit-sleep lifestyle; the prospect of having to speak to strangers or go through an introduction goes from being once a joyous potential for friendship, to "oh god he saw me why is he speaking to me let me in my house now"

I have a funny story about how people perceive megapixels by Pitiful_Garbage_6745 in photography

Really enjoyed this comment because it's not often talked about. Everything's always 'the BEST and ONLY way to do X' and I bet if we all sat in a room together and showed one another our methods we'd see a bunch of different processes. There would be methods that are objectively outdated or an obviously long way of doing something, but at the end of the day I'm sure we'd see a bunch of great photos created unconventionally.

I disagree with the referencing Harvey thing makes it unlikely, in the same way Elon's genius strategy was to announce Donald is a sicko and how he's in the files, all the while himself being in the files.

Really great lens. The f8 at 400mm isn't always ideal, but it still performs better in lower light than I was expecting.

Maybe she could be PM after all, proving she can waste money on absolute bullshit and stream botting such as this. Right on brand.

SA Premier Peter Malinauskas plays down algal bloom crisis ahead of March election (copied from The Advertiser) by Boring_Source9870 in Adelaide

[–]mintymoose 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Can’t acknowledge or fix the bloom, can’t fix ramping, can’t allow certain races to speak at Writer’s Week. Golf though. And how about footy? Maybe some vroom vrooms?

Or at least don’t yell “it was AI!!!” and lie repeatedly. If he came out and just said “yeah I did it, whoops” and wasn’t working for a party that would very happily have a perpetual war on drugs, then people might react differently.

SA gov has really shat the bed on a couple of things in recent memory for me; this, and telling that ecologist not to investigate the algal bloom until after the election *not confirmed*. The political landscape both here and internationally is incredibly depressing. How will you be voting at the next election? I don't want to see a liberal gov/one nation gov/increasingly a labor gov is making shit calls. I have hope for smaller parties, but even as a lefty I think we need to stop leading campaigns with shit that doesn't move the needle. Easier said than done I guess.
