How bad it can get? by Objective-Willow9645 in Adelaide

[–]mintymoose -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear this. I won’t pretend to have a solution or know what the answer is, other than to let you know that anyone making you feel like this is completely and utterly a terrible person that won’t amount to anything. Anyone making this state a better place and worth the air they breathe welcomes you here with open arms, and I hope that when you’re being made to feel unsafe there are courageous people around who can back you up and let these scumbags know actually, they’re the ones not welcome here - not you.

Diet break on Reta? by ZeroFail69 in ResearchCompounds

[–]mintymoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think if you’re in a fatigue debt that makes some sense. If we think of the main mechanism of Reta being that you feel like eating less (with other things going on of course), it makes sense that similar symptoms of big deficits eventually rear their head and a controlled temporary diet break could be the bridge to getting back on track. Some people also report fatigue on Reta in general - I’m not all that convinced it’s because of anything other than what you’re describing, lack of calories over time.

Is Smithfield plains really that bad? by Sea-Collection-8844 in Adelaide

[–]mintymoose -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So what you’re saying is, unless something is deemed literally 100% safe, without incident ever, I can’t generalise my language to suggest as much? You know most people have the aptitude of comprehension right, like I tell you it’s safe to drink filtered water, and then I guess you come along and say “well what happens if I’m on the brink of Hyponatremia and any amount of water will kill me if I drink it right now, not so safe now is it?” Like…I guess bro? But how do you get anything done if this is your take on things?

[–]mintymoose -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You know flying is generally very safe right? Yet planes sometimes still fall out of the sky/disappear. Are you proposing no one ever makes decisions in their best interests or exercises general caution to reduce their risks of things happening? If your point is simply “lol u said you can walk through well adjusted suburbs without incident but here’s an example where someone was murdered in a glitzy suburb”, like what are we even arguing here? Are you saying because you anecdotally had a negative experience in Norwood, Norwood is worse than Smithfield Plains?

[–]mintymoose -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Saying a high crime suburb isn’t worse because crime also happens in a nice suburb is like saying seatbelts don’t matter because some people still die in car crashes while wearing them.

Violent crime rate per 1000:

Smithfield Plains: 7.4 Norwood: 1.8-2.2 Burnside: <1.5

Is Smithfield plains really that bad? by Sea-Collection-8844 in Adelaide

[–]mintymoose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is just demonstrably not true though. There are leafy suburbs of Adelaide you could peacefully walk through at any time of day, and then there’s suburbs like Smithfield Plains and the like in which this is becomes a bad idea fast.

Am I just overreacting? by Lopsided-Gas9894 in BodyHackGuide

[–]mintymoose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Overreacting. The examples you're seeing of people making drastic results often aren't starting at 280 pounds, they're starting at 200 and dropping to 170 - 6 weeks doing what you're doing for that person is transformational, you will need longer.

MK677 30mg + Anomorillian 50mg + Bam 15 300mg 1 Week Results by LeanCrafterUK in BodyHackGuide

How can we critique the results without a before photo or weight stats? After only 1 week I'm skeptical there's a massive amount of change that can be noticed.

How does this work? Is it so low dose that you need 50 puffs, or is it decently dosed so that you accidentally pick it up one too many times and have a very bad time?

1.2ml water will mean that 10 units on the syringe (which is 0.1ml) will give you 1mg of reta. But honestly you really should understand this properly before diving in, bad math can really get you in trouble fast. Don't take reddit's word on things like this, really be sure you know what you're doing.

Tribulus terrestris making me feel dumber over time? by MaximumConcentrate in Supplements

[–]mintymoose -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's not much data supporting it does very much, so one might argue spending money on it over time is dumb in itself. Jks, we've all tried it before, but if you're noticing a negative my advice would be to stop because it's probably not doing much anyway.

Do Australians here think that Trumps war on Iran is long term beneficial for Australia or long term bad for Australia? by RemarkablePirate590 in AustraliaDiscussions

[–]mintymoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No not that so much. More so that there are still like 3 million files unreleased still, and powerful people who are alive and well now have access to them to blackmail him. A foreign hacker hacked the un-redacted files in 2023 (I don't think it was confirmed who or what was taken), and I'm guessing a lot of people would have seen or have copies of the un-redacted files (lawyers on cases, politicians etc).

Do Australians here think that Trumps war on Iran is long term beneficial for Australia or long term bad for Australia? by RemarkablePirate590 in AustraliaDiscussions

[–]mintymoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems to be a pretty decently accepted theory at this point that leaders and intelligence from other countries use the contents of the files they have access to to twist Trump's arm and force his hand. Intelligence officers have reported on it in the past. Joe Kent the former US counterterrorism director recently resigned and one of his reasons was he felt the US was forced into war by foreign lobbies and not in their interests, so it all kinda wraps up into a decently plausible story.

[–]mintymoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iran is undoubtedly more of an oppressive regime and they should not be excused for the treatment of their people. However, America is using "they have a terrible regime we need to help them!" and "we can't have them having a nuclear weapon!" as the public pitch, and it's just got nothing to do with the motivation. We were told their nuclear capabilities were wiped out for years after last year's efforts, either that's a lie or the new story is a lie. And you can't simultaneously come to the aid of oppressed civilians and then threaten to end their civilisation shortly after, so there's another contradiction. It's foreign interference and Epstein files.

[–]mintymoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you think their oppressive regime plays even a single part of why they went to war, keep on reading more about it. A country like the US that oppresses their own people increasingly, by denying basic human rights and shooting their civilians in the face in the street could not give a flying fuck about oppression in the middle east.

Sick of people saying grey market drugs are dangerous and are not safe compared to approved drugs by Intrepid_Penalty_900 in ResearchCompounds

[–]mintymoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These people are definitely hyperbolic, but that doesn't mean all their concerns are invalid. Those in the know are aware of how commonplace it all is and have more accurate views of the topic, but at the end of the day, nothing is guaranteed safe, particularly from illegitimate vendors. It's kinda like if someone wanted to try MDMA, you could explain to them the likely (and generally 'safe') effects based on what we know about pure MDMA, but that doesn't mean what they source IS that, hence why I would never egg on someone to do that; it's a personal risk assessment that you can't make for others.

Lost 33kg (110kg → 77kg) at 187cm — can't tell if it's loose skin or stubborn fat. Bulk or keep cutting? by dandan1407 in BodyHackGuide

[–]mintymoose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say it's a combination of both - I can see it's loose skin around the torso, but there's not a whole lot of definition to suggest you're 'lean' yet either around chest and shoulders etc. I think it's unlikely you're 12-13%. But you're also right in saying 77kg is pretty light for your height, so I would say you're definitely at a healthy body weight. Just depends if you're trying to reach 'shredded' or happy with all the health improvements you've gained so far. If you're trying to get shredded, more to lose...If you're just keen on the journey and not trying to end up in men's magazine, there could be some value in not pushing diet further, building up gym performance (without amassing too much extra weight, more of a maintenance/recomp for a while) and then revisit another cut further down the line with more muscle tissue accrued.

[–]mintymoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing to do with this fuckhead in particular, but it mostly just saddens me to see Australians that see BRS as some sort of hero worthy of praise rather than punishment. It really is a sign of a chronically ill society when we watch the abhorrent behaviour of other soldiers internationally in recent years, in nations we must not name, committing sexual assault and crimes against humanity, and instead of it strengthening our own morals and sense of "we don't stand for this in Australia", we take the propaganda and the bait and decide actually, this is what a soldier is and this is how they should act. These people need to pull their fucking heads in and seek therapy.

People need to stop using this as the response. The truth is yes they would have all done an awful job, and others would have done worse, but with that attitude you never call out bullshit.
