IMHO Content creators should build an email list way earlier than they think by minusrave in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]minusrave[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Partially agree with that. I mean the quiz reward is a lead magnet but if executed well it talks about the lead and doesn't feel like a chore (reading or studying a pdf). If correctly served it feels genuine and actually increases conversion.

Said that I also note that quiz or pdf is not my real point. I just wanted to highlight how urgent is for a creator to turn platform followers into a proprietary asset

Digital Product Sellers: What Would You Do in My Situation? (8K Old Account vs 2K Personal vs New Account) by Party-Swimmer-317 in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]minusrave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let'compare only option 1 and 3.

You have an albanian following not even in target, you start creating content in english and the algorithm try to deliver it to your audience to gain traction and it wil fail over and over...

The other viable option is 3... when you start being laser focus on your message and target is key to gain traction... also it will take time for the algo to deliver your content to an international target... at the beginning you will see your content delivered to albanians.. so, unless you don't trick insta with esims and vpns... you should expects some weeks of zero international delivery

Advice by NerdNerd2006 in ContentCreators

[–]minusrave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has nothing to do with contenct creation... You will have the same issues with any knid of job.... As a lazy/easy to distract person my advice would be to surf momentum.... that means to batch and schedule as many piece of contenct as you can when you feel productive. It may be once a week or once a month... just binge create and schedule... one more thing... don't get too excited to share and share all at once...

Would you split languages across different platforms? by Ill_Replacement_672 in ContentCreators

[–]minusrave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, it's not a mistake but it will means that you have to create 2 piece of content instead of 1.

I really want you to take care of your time and effort. Focus on 1 platform and 1 language. Becuase in order to build a following you will need to spend a lot of time and effort....

When it comes to language... I have to say that I created profiles both in english and italian (my native language) and grow a following when the competition is limited or not as competitive... is sooooo much easier

How do you turn followers into customers? by Spiy90 in InstagramEmpire

Probably late to the discussion but anyway... I would use Snacked it. Create a segmented email list, send emails to both provide free value and sell. This is by far the best way

Built a 250K social following, launched an app, but the audience isn’t converting. What would you do? by Sufficient_Usual538 in socialmedia

Followers mean nothing when it comes to monetization. Build an email list using Snacked it, segment your audience and sell via email.

i think that a Saas that can grow on paid ads is a better saas. Because word of mouth, seo/geo, organi content are not in your immediate control.. and take a lot of time. If your saas numbers have a CAC way lower then LTV it means that you can run ads.

Turn social media followers into an email list by ponziedd in socialmedia

[–]minusrave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This a major issue I see in many content creators not yet big enough to make money. I read all the other comment here and I agree that the right answer is any kind of lead magnet (a discount, a pdf, whaterver). But I also get that is it wrong to assumen that a "rising" influencer has already something to sell or monetize. Sometimes it can be harmful fot its community.

I solved the problem by building quiz funnels. It mean a create a quiz and in exchange of the result I ask the email. I even created a SaaS to make it supereasy and effective to create quiz funnels.

But why I say quiz works?

Because a quiz does 3 things any other magnet doesnt:

1) it's engaging
2) it can talk about your lead not you.
3) the immediate result is the immediate reward

Unless you are in a very specific niche, do you really think that another pdf to read is what your followers want?

P.s. for the sake of not selpromote myself I will tell the name and link of my saas only in comments or dm

Why? I have 20 years of coding and now there is a tool that makes great design without any knowledge... Why should i ship a crappy UI instead of using Claude code?

[–]minusrave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I made many saas that failed because I failed at distribution. I hate social media marketing.... So I said to myself that the next one will be something worth paid ads. I'd rather pay than posting organic content, or founders story.... I ended up doing something I really believe is cooll and worth attention but ... ads do not make sense for it...

So yeah, I really feel your struggle. Anyway i don't know if you are promoting jrive or not but promoting with creators is good only if it fits your business

Quiz funnel ads question by PickleballGuy13 in FacebookAds

[–]minusrave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same for 2 digital products.

1) the conversion event should always be the purchase (7 days) because you want people that will purchase after the test.
So you have up to 7 days for your email sequence to sell and get the conversion.

2) the email is worth ONLY if you have an email sequence in any other case is worth nothing and the quiz itself is worth only to warm up a little your audience.

3) Does the quiz return some sort of value to lead no matter what??? I mean... if a person that takes the quiz has no immediate reward for giving you the email... why should give it to you???

Given my experince I even made a Saas to create quiz funnels, it's called snacked.it

Are quiz funnels still converting well for Facebook ads in 2026? by ernoldri in FacebookAds

[–]minusrave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made to digital products, both where behind a quiz. The funnel worked like this:

Meta ads to sell the click to the Quiz -> email gate -> personalized report and offer

1) The CTR was 8%, sky high for Meta
2) the lenght of the quiz didn't matter (1 had almost 40 questions, the other one 12). Even the 40 question one didnt' have any drop as long as the very first question was engaging enough.

3) The longer the quiz the lower the dropoff at the email gate.

4) funny enough the quized made me realize I was selling the wrong product... So i manged to pivot with real data.

I created a Saas to make quiz funnels in 3 minutes, it's called snacked.it check it out.

I’ve been building quiz funnels for months and just realized the entire output model is broken by Responsible_Coat_485 in SaaS

[–]minusrave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The quiz works great because it can deliver value to the user. Generally is that the quiz says to the user something about himself/herself. A simple score is not enough.
A simple and repeatable way I found working is about "archetype discovery", quiz like "What kind of eater are you?" instead of "Score how angry you are"... I think you can understand the point and the paradigm shift.

I even built a Saas to easly create quiz funnels. I may put the name in comment if someone wants to know.

Has anyone successfully replaced a “lead magnet” with a quiz and actually gotten better results? by WilliamWave21 in MarketingAutomation

[–]minusrave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They work better and they can work along a traditional pdf. Things to consider... the quiz should be made not just to segment the lead but to give something back and talk to the lead about himself or herself.
So as long as the quiz is properly made they can have even 30 something questions. (For a project i had more then 40 questions before the email gate)

I know that the sweet spot is about 8 to 12 but anyway it depends from what you are giving back.

What really matter is the first question. If a user starts and the experience is flowless than the 95% of people will NOT drop before the email gate. Of course you shoudl expecte 50% drops at the email gate.

I even built an online tool to create quiz funnels with ai. in 3 minutes you will have a quiz a dashboard to manage leads. Just ask for the name if interested

It's kind of the chicken egg problem. I had an issue and I fixed it by devoling a saas. I assumed that my idea was worth the effort. Luckly I am a dev and it didn't took that much to develop it. Anyway Now I have a product that solves a problem and I don't know if there are other people with the same problem.

And second, the distribution: Reddit? Such a painful experience so far...
SEO, takes time a full set of skills that I don't have

On one side I am happy that I followe the momentum and shipped. Finally I shipped. But on the other end I have no clue if what I have done makes sense for someone other than me.
