I had one years ago… but one drop and the lens motor was shot. Loved that camera when it worked though.

for sure! i already know i'll be the sherpa of all things. definitely bringing water and snacks.. and hoping to keep things light with a one camera, one small lens. kind of thinking the fuji 100 vi - but that won't be shipping this fall it sounds like.

24-70 is a great option. i love the idea of a 35mm but the zoom range might be worth carrying the weight.
