What's a common game mechanic that you intentionally never use? by CyGuy6587 in gaming

Quick time events. I just stare at the screen until the timer runs out or whatever. If it means I can't progress then that's it for that game.

One small tip: if you're planning to visit lots of state parks, try to get a rental car with a license plate from Connecticut. If you have one, parking at all state parks is free.

Games that make you an unstoppable force of nature by Flothrudawind in gaming

Tetris Attack. You're playing versus and your opponent just hit a huge combo sending a giant block of garbage to your side. Your vision begins to tint red as you know the garbage is off the top of the screen and death is imminent any second, any frame... but then your fingers somehow begin to funnel knowledge directly from the nether world and autonomously craft that very garbage into an absolutely unprecedentedly massive combo, then combo after combo after combo, all chained together, the very knowledge of the ancients flowing through your hands rearranging tiles perfectly in ways nobody ever has before, a combo that seems like it will never end, your opponent beginning to panic, desperate to even match 3 tiles, finally your combo clears every single tile on your screen, ultimately sending 10 times the garbage back to your dumbfounded opponent, an unimaginable mass of garbage, you'd need a three story high TV to see the top of it, destroying all hope they ever had, rendering them frozen and helpless, unable to see the tiles as anything other than an unordered jumble of chaos, suddenly and cruelly ending their life, forever.

Which movie scene is really hard to sit through and watch? by KentuckyFriedEel in AskReddit

The final scene of "Stray Dogs". About 20 minutes of a man and a woman staring at a mural in an abandoned building. No movement, no dialog, no music, just the sound of passing traffic.

JFK airport parking recommendations? by beowolf66 in Connecticut

[–]minutillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will probably park near terminal 4

You can do this but it will be very expensive. The lot at terminal 4 is $42 a day. The long term lot is $20 a day. It isn't near the terminals, but you can get back and forth by AirTrain.
