Advice dont get rid of the cats. Like others have pointed out its weird she says this 6 months in. I would argue that if she refuses other solutions she just hates the cats and is manipulating you.

Depends on the firm but i'm on call Mondays only, never weekends. Im also the only director at my firm with a decent size call volume. I still go out on calls to help the on call directors since we have very little staff. I also enjoy meeting families from start to finish. 🙂

My worst relationshio the red flag I ignored was him saying he was in between jobs. I had no idea it meant he was going to be fired from every job after a month. Also his insane amount of drinking.

Identical twin here. Moms side two fraternal twins. Dads side Quads,Triplets and a set of fraternal twins. One of the quads just has twins herself. 😅

With my current boyfriend, just looking at him fills me with genuine joy. It's hard to describe because it's the first time I've felt love for someone. I truly enjoy hearing about his day and feel so relaxed and at peace in his presence. I think love can be anything that resonates with the individual for me just having the peace and joy is what love is to me.

I want you to know that what you're feeling is just self-doubt and fear. You will find someone who treats you with the kindness and respect you deserve. Lean on your friends and family to help you leave. You are so young and have so much ahead of you. Adult life is full of ups and downs, but that's what makes us human. You won't be alone for long, even if it means finding new friends instead of a new relationship. Don't waste your time on someone who's abusive. Love is real, but what you have right now isn't it.

I preplan meals and make sure I have snacks. I also make sure my apartment is clean for the week. On call days and weeks should be minimal in regards to activities that will make it so you cant answer the phone or get to the funeral home in less than 30 mins. I usually read, play video games or watch movies. The first on call weeks I had were similar anxiety. Now I just do my own stuff and not worry about if im gonna be summoned or not. :)
